10th March 2022

• Happy Mario day! I'm awake but laying in bed for a little bit and I hear Dylan wake up and he comes into me around 6am. He immediately goes straight back to sleep. It's a big deal that he stayed in his room all night last night as lately he waits up for me to head to bed and then dives in with me straight away, or he will still wake up in the night and come in during the early hours of the morning.

• We get up just before 6.30 and head downstairs where Dylan immediately puts on Mario Kart 8 deluxe. There are new tracks being released soon so he's back on it.

• First thing I do is check up on the Guardian's new daily Live reporting page for the Ukraine and Russia war.

• Dylan swaps the switch for his Galaxy tab to play Mario Kart tour.

• I go and get laundry on, put the laundry away from the airer, change the refill in my deodorant as it couldn't be used in the container anymore it had got so low.

• I grab a cereal bar. Dylan had already grabbed the last jam donut for breakfast and I start to write in his home/school book so his teacher knows how the morning has been.

• Dylan gets dressed and watches some Mario YouTube videos. When the 8.30 alarm goes off he gets his shoes and coat on then he jumps on his scooter to head to school.

• He heads straight to the snug and "Miss A" takes him up to class. I'm told his EHCP request should be completed in May which is exciting news!

• I head home and go straight out to Tesco. Gareth messages to say he forgot to add his beer to the shopping and once I grab the shop from the click and collect hut, I go in to the store to get it and while in there I manage to find the Doritos that was instead substituted in our shopping.

• I get home again and put the shopping away and pop my head in to Gareth to tell him about the EHCP.

• New episode of This Is Us, so I get it ready and call the doctors to make sure they received all the evidence I sent them for Dylan's referral last week as I didn't get a confirmation/acknowledgement receipt. 12th in queue...

• I grab a bite to eat at 11am as I realise I've only had a cereal bar for breakfast and finish off the show.

• I get laundry sorted and get another load in, this time with the jersey knit fabric I ordered and the last bit of the bed sheets that need washing. I opt not to put in the red fabric but to wash that separately!

• Dylan's uniform from the first load of laundry is in the tumble drier as I need it for tomorrow!

• I go over the assessment from my course so I know what it is I need to get done next week and look at the second section for unit 1. I decide I will continue it tomorrow and take a breather today. Instead I go over Plex and fix the issue I have that there doesn't seem to be as many movies coming up - I delete the DVR and reset it up with another scan. Problem fixed! Lots of garage sale murder mystery movies pop up! Excitedly, I hit record on them!

• I print out a pattern for a top I want to make, assemble it and put the instructions into my Google drive just in case.

• I keep on top of the tumble drier and I'm not overly hungry so while getting Gareth his 2 pastel de nata cut into quarters with a cup of tea, I pour a cup of milk and have a brunch bar knowing I will probably have my sandwich when Dylan is home. I put on Great British sewing bee and finish off the episode I began watching the other day.

• I boot up the Chromebook (it only has 3 months of life left before it stops receiving updates) as I don't want to turn the computer back on, and get a pattern envelope made on Google slides so I have a place to put the pattern for the tunic I just printed.

• Before I know it, the 2.45 alarm has gone off and I go to school to collect Dylan. He has had a great day! We swing by Jane's Pantry for a drink and head home.

• We go through Mario Kart 8 deluxe, Mario kart Tour, Mario Kart Wii and attempt to try Mario Kart DX but had no joy on the last one. Instead Dylan goes for Friday Night Funkin' Mario mods. I'm watching The Indie Projects and keeping an eye on the things in the tumble drier and swapping for the next lot once it has finished.

• I tidy up the kitchen as Gareth says he's cooking his dinner as soon as he finishes work, and I sort Dylan's left over curry out before I stick on some cheese and hamwiches that's left in the freezer.

• Dylan finishes his food first and as I eat mine we watch a video on channel super fun on YouTube. Gareth comes in and joins us but puts his own video on once ours is finished. I clear the bed of the laundry I put on there earlier and then we all carry in chilling on the sofa.

• Gareth goes up to bed at 7pm while I'm still tunnel drying and swapping things over. My gold fabric has a hole in it and I'm gutted, but I just plan on avoiding that section if possible. We have a mini dance party to Rick Astley "Never Gonna Give You Up" and then watch Minecraft videos.

• We head to bed around 8. I fill hot wat r bottles and go watch Brooklyn nine nine in bed with Gareth. Around 9.30/40 I head to bed and pop my head in on Dylan. He's still awake. I head to bed and he jumps in with me shortly after.
