Kings Highway CTP Updates: DelDOT Projects Portal updated to include US 9, Kings Highway, Dartmouth Drive to Freeman Highway
The project includes intersection reconstruction, multimodal upgrades (shared use path and sidewalks) throughout the project limits, and integration of the Byway Kings Highway and Gills Neck Road Master Plan. The Capital Transportation Program (CTP) that will serve as the construction vehicle for Kings Highway improvements. At the 2/23/2022 Public Virtual Workshop, DelDOT introduced the plan for 5 roundabouts along the Kings Highway Corridor to manage future traffic. At the 2/20/2024 workshop DelDOT reconfirmed their recommendation for the 5 rounadabout plan.
