Classroom Aids 2026/27

Looking for help for the 2026-27 school year

Mondays 11:30-12:30

Tuesdays 11:30-12:30

Wednesdays 10-11,  Two aids needed 11:30-12:30, and one needed 2:30-3:30

Thursdays 10-11 and of course for swim

Play Ground Supervision 2026/27

Monday- Thursday

9-10 , 11:00-11:30, 12:30-1:15, 2:15-2:30 and 3:30-4:00

Laundry 

Washing the school laundry every week

1-2 hours a week in school service and potentially tuition credit. 

Yard care

Mowing and trimming the yard. 

about 4 hours a month school service and potentially tuition credit. 

Gardener

Take care of the school garden/ possibly running an after school gardening club?

1-3 hours a week school service and potentially tuition credit. 

Volunteer Organizer 2026/27

Doing the outreach, making sure needed positions are getting filled. Helping families keep track of served hours…

Fundraising Organizer

Making sure our yearly fundraisers have what they need to work. Making sure each fundraiser has a “leader”. Including getting people to sign-up to bring/volunteer, get donations ect… Developing new fundraisers. 

Community Liaison

Someone to reach out into the community businesses and organizations and arrange guest speakers, field trips, internships, student volunteer opportunities and donations… Helping Mistwood build relationships with the larger community.  

Book Club Leader

Did you know Mistwood has a parent reading list? 

We would love to have a parent organize a monthly book club for parents/teachers interested in reading and learning together.
