NOTES: (VOB + smalls) This new musical is absolutely fantastic and is likely to do very well when it hits Broadway this season. Christy is perfectly cast as Anya, and she has great chemistry with Derek, Mary, and the rest of the cast. The music, sets, and costumes are all beautifully done as well. This is nearly perfectly captured with no obstruction and just a couple quick very dropouts. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes playbill scans.

NOTES: (MP4 - 9.49 GB) The first show with the new changes after ALW's phone call with the cast & crew. obstructed by a head when the stage revolves, but aside from that it's a pretty clear view. A Mike Hamway fancam at times. This show is a mess.

Steve Barton (Albin/Zazá), Gunther Konig (Georges)
NOTES: (VOB + smalls - 2.95 GB) Some generational loss but great for its age. Steve Barton opened the show as Jean-Michel in 1985, then took over the role of Albin from Helmut Baumann in 1986. Often mislabeled as 1987.

NOTES: (MP4 - 10.54 GB) Great 4K capture of this production’s closing performance! Old Deutoronomy’s entrance sequence, which is approximately 8 minutes long, is blacked out due to the theatre-wide standing ovation. Some action on the balconies or in the audience couldn’t be captured, and because a lot of the staging uses the entire theatre, there are frequent wideshots. Some obstruction in the top right that blocks off a bit of action (mostly at the beginning). Some moments of wandering and unfocusing. The crowd is loud and enthusiastic, which is encouraged, but does mean some moments are difficult to hear and the audio is overwhelming. Curtain call is included (but mostly blindshot), audio is fed from external source.
