NOTES: (VOB + smalls) Filmed in 16:9 widescreen. No obstructions, only one blackout in Act One due to late-comers, and a very brief one in Act Two due to a glitch in the video that had to get cut out. Steady filming with a good mix of close-ups and medium zooms for ensemble action on the very large set. External audio fed in from MD source so it is clear.  Overall, a very solid cast and excellent performances all-around. Judy McLane especially stood out as Diana, as did Jonathan Rayson as Dan. One of my favorite Diana/Dan combinations I've seen. Absolutely genuine and powerful acting from those two, which is pretty amazing considering the show's run was only three weeks long. They made very good use of some new staging and a new set, bringing out some new nuances to the show. Some elements I thought were essential to the Broadway/tour productions were missing, but it's nothing too drastic. There were also some very minor script changes that were interesting. Everyone (perhaps because it was the closing show) was giving 110% and was on fire.

San Jose Repertory Theatre | January 29, 2013 - juniper47

NOTES: (VOB + smalls - 4.27 GB) Kendra Kassebaum was such a phenomenal Diana - her acting was out of this world! Shot in 16:9 widescreen, a tad dark in some low-light scenes, but no obstructions at all. One brief blackout for the first minute of "Why Stay?" when a battery change was necessary. But also included (at the end of the DVD) is a clip of "Why Stay?" shot in its entirety from 2 days prior to make up for that. Quick drop-outs for applause. Also, the angle where my seat was weird, so there's slight tilt in the video. Audio fed in from external source, so the audio is nice and clear

NOTES: (VOB + smalls - 7.01 GB) Filmed in 16:9 widescreen, SD. Had to film around a couple of tall people in front of me, so a few minor obstructions when action was at the far sides of the stage, but worked around as best as possible. Lighting was also very dark at times, but was brightened a bit in post-editing. Heidi Blickenstaff was a powerhouse Diana, both in her vocals and her range of acting. The pacing/tempo and some direction choices were perhaps not my favorite, but this was still a fantastic regional production of a gut-wrenching show.

NOTES: (VOB + smalls - 6.3 GB) Judy McLane has one of those voices that is somehow always perfect, and she sings the hell out of this score. This was her second time playing Diana, and had a somewhat different take on the role since her first time in 2011 - more vulnerable, more intense. Filmed with a newer HD camera and compiled with different DVD software, now generating two discs instead of one - better quality! Great 16:9 capture with little obstruction or washout except in the wide shots - great picture in medium and close zooms. Brief 30-second dropout at start of Act 2 due to wrong camera settings that were quickly fixed. Audio fed in from external source, so the audio is nice and clear. NO PART OF THIS VIDEO IS EVER TO BE POSTED ANYWHERE ONLINE including but not limited to YouTube, Tumblr, Vimeo, etc.

NOTES: (MP4 - 2.36 GB) The usual wandering, shakiness, grain, etc, with the only dropouts being during the applauses to stretch my hand. The center of the stage is obstructed by a head so I needed to shoot around it and any action directly in the center of the stage is unfortunately not captured. There is also mild obstruction from other surrounding heads but the center one is the most bothersome. It doesn't cut off anything too important, though. My camera struggled to focus at points but it isn't distracting or anything.
