Ben Whishaw (John Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (Abigail Williams), Ciarán Hinds (Deputy Governor Danforth), Sophie Okonedo (Elizabeth Proctor), Jason Butler Harner (Reverend Samuel Parris), Bill Camp (Reverend John Hale), Elizabeth Teeter (Betty Parris)
NOTES: (VOB + smalls) Stunning and intense production of this Arthur Miller classic. There is a head that is shot over on the left side of the stage. It usually just blocks the actors' legs when in the frame, which is worked around well. The last 10 seconds of the show (Elizabeth's speech) are missing due to length of show and battery running out. Broadway Revival (2013) | May 6, 2013 - Lanelle
Alan Cumming (Macbeth), Jenny Sterlin (Lady Macbeth), Brendan Titley (Banquo)
NOTES: (VOB + smalls - 3.92 GB) Listed on older trading sites as 2 DVDS but is in fact 1. An MP4 version ripped from the disc (Comes in parts due to the disc's format) incorrectly circulates as May 23, 2013. Phenomenal show with an innovative take on the classic play, and Alan Cumming gives an amazing performance. A few blackouts (seconds long) and moments of wandering, but mostly it's really well-shot and steady and unobstructed. The set has video-screens that show close-ups, and I shot those when the rest of the stage was pitch black. A
The Old Globe | July 16, 2016 - SJ Bernly
Jonathan Cake (Macbeth), Marsha Stephanie Blake (Lady Macbeth), Timothy D. Stickney (Banquo), Clifton Duncan (Macduff), Brian Keane (Ross/Third Murderer), Daniel Petzold (Malcolm), Jerome Preston Bates (Duncan), James Joseph O'Neil (Lennox/Seyton/Second Murderer), Ally Carey (Lady Macduff), John Lavelle (Porter/First Murderer), Mark Pinter (Siward/An Old Man), Nathan Whitmer (Doctor), Jake Millgard (Angus), Kevin Hafso-Koppman (Donalbain), Makha Mthembu (First Witch), Amy Blackman (Second Witch), Suzelle Palacios (Third Witch), Talley Beth Gale (Gentlewoman), Ajinkya Desai (Fleance), Amara James Aja (Bloody Captain/Menteith), Lorenzo Landini (Young Siward)
NOTES: (VOB + smalls - 7.01 GB) A visually rich production of the play; both Jonathan and Marsha give stunning performances. A good capture overall with no washout. The first 15 minutes are blacked out, but the show is fully captured after that. There is one head in the center that blocks the actors' feet over part of the stage, but it’s worked around as much as possible and never fully blocks the action. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans. A-
First US National Tour | October 2025 (1) - soysaucepierre NFT
Cher Álvarez (Lou), Patrick Heusinger (James), Shannon Cochran (Carolanne), Kate Fry (Etheline Cotgrave), Sophie Kaegi (Ensemble)
NOTES: (MP4 - 7.97 GB) Decent 4K capture of this stunning play in its North American premiere! The stage effects and plot twists were so cool guys. Due to how dark this play was, a fair amount of the video is blindshot with moments of wandering, readjustment, mild tilt, and shakiness throughout. There is a head obstruction for the lower right side of stage but doesn't often block action, and gets worked around better in Act 2. Very short blackout (less than 30 seconds) about 30 minutes in due to a camera issue. The entirety of Act 2 has an issue where a black box persists in the bottom left corner of screen. Shot mostly in mediums and wides with a few closeups mixed in. Audio fed from external source.
TLDR: Guys, I think this activity is somewhere between moderately to severely paranormal... NFT Date: August 23, 2026

NOTES: (MP4 - 8.08 GB) Solid 4K capture of this stellar play on Halloween! The show is very dark so a fair amount is blindshot / wideshot. The first minute-ish of Act 2 is audio only. Act 1 has a fair amount of tilt due to accidentally turning my level off, this is fixed in Act 2. There are a couple head obstructions at the bottom of screen that are worked around well but block a bit of action in Act 2 when one gets particularly restless. Readjustment, tilt, and wandering with occasional focus issues throughout. Shot in mostly wides and mediums with some closeups mixed in. Audio fed from external source. TLDR: TIME TO GET SPOOKY!!
