BLURB: MinnCORE believes that corporate education reform is a boondoggle for the wealthy and powerful that want to privatize education and strip unions from it. The wealthy have different interests in schooling than most ordinary people who want to see their children fully educated as a means of empowering them to achieve a better life. We are currently being assaulted by corporate ed reform strategies. These include: standardized tests, automated online learning software and charter schools; all of these aim to shape schooling to what the wealthy need out of it: the indoctrination and stratification of future workers.Â
