An easy yet elegant appetizer, perfect for entertaining or cozy nights in. Creamy brie, tart cranberries, crunchy toasted walnuts, and spicy-sweet hot honey come together on a golden-baked flatbreak in under 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 store-bought flatbread or naan (10-12" / 25-40 cm)
4 oz (115g) brie cheese, sliced or cubed
1/4 cup (35g) dried cranberries
1/4 cup (30g) toasted walnuts - chopped
1 Tbs (15ml) olive oil
2 Tbs (30ml) hot honey (or honey mixed with chili flakes)
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Place the flatbread on the baking sheet & brush it with olive oil
Top evenly with brie, cranberries, and toasted walnuts
Bake for 8-10 minutes until the brie is melted and hte edges are golden brown
Drizzle with hot honey while still warm
Garnish with fresh thyme if desired
