Instructional Strategies: Microlearning & Personalization: This guide compliments the final Microlearning segment of Module 1, Scene 1, Slide 1.6 (Storyline 360): Product Choice Board in the Collaborate in the Cloud course. Participants can download and use the guide as a resource for completing their choice activity from the Product Choice Board. The Choice Board options personalized the learning path for each learner. The rational is that in large companies, it's likely that employees will have different backgrounds and different levels of familiarity with Microsoft applications. By utilizing the data derived from Needs Analysis (ADDIE model) it was determined that the training be tailored to enable employees to better engage with Microsoft Office products they are comfortable with in order to meet the overall goal of the training.
The guide is a digital document created in Canva.com and includes interactive text linked to five different Open Educational Resources: Computer and Information Technology OER > Websites for Computer Basics.

This Digital Image was created in Canva.com with one of their stock LinkedIn banner templates. I customized the image by adding my logo, a cork board with a frame effect, and a sticky note. On the note I included the five applications that are addressed in the Collaborate in the Cloud course. I added a jpeg of the course infographic title to the computer screen. For the Mp4 version, I selected the animated stomp 5 second effect. The Jpeg was selected for the banner to this webpage.

Articulate Storyline 360 - Collaborate in the Cloud - Module 1 Updated from Week 7

The learning objectives for Module 1 of the Collaborate in the Cloud course include participants examining the Microsoft Office 365 applications in the App Launcher waffle grid, navigating OneDrive and creating folders to organize products. Finally participants create a product that will be shared with peers or colleagues in Module 2.
Instructional Strategy: This course was designed around Gagne's 9 Events of Instruction. Participants will be polled at the beginning of the course (still in development) as to what they already know how to do in and with Microsoft Office 365. They will be able to select the module section that addresses what they need to learn. The presentation of content, video demonstrations for guidance, and practice all part of the cycle, along with feedback on their performance, assessment and their ability to transfer what they have learned to their job.
This revised version of Module 1 Slide 1.9 includes what I am learning about Layers, Triggers and Interactive features that I will continue to develop and apply beyond these first 7 days working in the Storyline 360 program. I've struggled with the logic of Triggers, but found a Storyline tutor from the Instructional Design Lab to review my work and provide me with feedback and demonstrations that reflect what I am wanting to design in the modules. I wish I could have learned it ALL in just this one week, but I know it will take a bit of time.
This checklist has been updated from it's original form. I've added in the 4.0 under CC, in addition to locking the form, adding text boxes for editing, and making the ?, NA (not applicable), NY (not yet), and checkmark copy/paste ready for completing the form.
Each of the digital media artifacts developed in this Signature Assignment have been analyzed using this Digital Media Checklist. I've included links to each individual checklist with the products.
I found that because I created each of the artifacts and used the Creative Commons website "beta License Chooser" for determining which CC licensing was appropriate, I ended up with the attribution CC BY 4.0 for each. Because the development of these artifacts are new, I could not account for peer or public reviews. Differences were found in the navigation section, as only two of the three artifacts have the navigation features and links "triggers" to other pages or resources.
In addition, each artifact was developed for a specific use with the Collaborate in the Cloud course as either an element of visual appeal, instructional support, and celebration of success. In this way, they each support the content and development of individual module or the whole of the course.
