I have a background in education, training adult learners, project management, and customer support. I’m committed to developing engaging learning experiences that incorporate learning principles, multi-media, various learning theories, and design methods, all to ensure each learner can make connections to the content, enhance their professional knowledge, and improve their performance. I demonstrate success in managing projects where organization, communication, collaboration, and time management are priorities. I am a motivated self-starter; I possess the aptitude to identify opportunities for improvement and the ability to quickly learn and utilize new methods, systems, and procedures. With a strong growth mindset, I continue to seek professional enhancement to stay current on emerging technologies and learning/training trends.
In today’s fast-paced work environments, many employees struggle to keep up with the latest tools and trends in their field. In some cases, employees lack the time, motivation, support from leaders, and access to effective training and resources. This can make it difficult for employees to stay relevant and competitive in the job market; it also leaves them feeling stuck, unmotivated and disengaged. Organizations need to provide employees with access to convenient learning opportunities and resources they need to grow and develop in their careers.
This session explored how to supplement traditional professional development by incorporating a more flexible and accessible way to learn by utilizing podcasts. You will discover how podcasts can inspire employees to get in the mindset to learn, promote active learning, establish motivation to develop their skills, and bridge the skills gap.
