Now ask yourself:
What key issue or argument is the article presenting, and how does it relate to themes like tolerance, inclusiveness, or boundaries within communities?
What assumptions or perspectives does the author bring to the topic? Are there any biases, and how might they affect the article’s message?
How could the ideas or issues discussed in the article be applied or seen in your own community? Can you think of examples where similar situations or values are present?
How might critical thinking help communities address the issues raised in the article? What specific critical thinking skills would be valuable?
