New Business

This form of partnering requires a high degree of "mutual trust" between us and the candidate partner.  This is absolutely necessary to protect the interests and rights of each party once entering such a partnership.  Whether it is us who have the new Business Opportunity or you, it would be necessary to go through formal documentation (and legalization if necessary) process to protect the interest and rights of the partners.

It is necessary at this point to clarify that this type of partnership may take different forms and cover a wide range of possibilities

  • Teaming in market research and opportunity exploration

  • Funding an identified opportunity

  • Financial Investment 

In my view and my approach towards the subject, I have defined a 3-stages core procedure to be followed:

• 1. Executive Summary:  To be developed by the opportunity owner seeking partnership with the other party

  2. Letter Of Intent: to be issued by the other party showing interest and intention to pursue this partnership in principle.

  3. Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA):  to be issued by the opportunity owning party and to be formally signed by an authorized person and duly stamped by the other party

Once this has been established, two additional steps in the partnership procedure will follow:

• 1. Memo Of Understanding (MOU): will need to be jointly drafted, reviewed and agreed upon based on elements included in the previous three steps. 

  2. Formal Partnership Agreement: to be prepared between the two parties to serve as basis for entering effective partnership
