PAIN & GAIN Issues
Individuals/organizations move under two major drivers; pain & gain
All individuals and organizations are subject to the impact and influence of these two driving forces. Every move, every action and every conscious thought would be either to get rid of a pain, or to score a gain somehow, somewhere. Think about it and you will find it is a true statement that represents reality of life.
GAIN is more about the future and how we would like to be in the future. It is about vision and ambition, and rosy dreams. It is nice to have, hence many deal with it as a luxury to be pursued if circumstances allow it. Hence, GAIN ISSUES may remain at the bottom of the attention list of decision makers
PAIN -on the other hand- is more about present time problems and obstacles affecting the individual/organization and limiting the ability to fulfill obligations and commitments as may be found in the mission statement and self-mandates of the individuals or the organization. Hence PAIN ISSUES are usually at the top of the attention list of decision makers
While gain is extremely important, it is very often ignored and forgotten under pressures coming from pain issues, challenges and problems. Hence, it is quite sensible to say that PAIN has higher priority than GAIN, although -on its own merit-, GAIN is far more important and more crucial to the future of individuals and organizations alike.

In this illustration, we are showing that we will take the pain issues (in red) down to their zero or minimal level so that we can then pursue the gain issues (in green) to bring them to the maximum level and turn the individual/organization to a rising star
We can deal with this topic at two levels;
Business-owner/executive management level through direct 1on1 meetings and/or executive breakfast/dinner circles
Organization level for each and every organization on its own to protect privacy and confidentiality of "sensitive details" that may be disclosed in these meetings.
