I am currently employed at two local clinics in Oklahoma City in the Unites States. I collaborate with the primary care providers as the Medicare Wellness Registered Nurse. My role is to perform personalized preventative visits for patients insured by Medicare. I identify those appropriate for Annual Wellness Visits and execute a guided plan to have the visit completed annually. Although my education path has been quite lengthy, I have appreciated the abundance of knowledge I have accrued over the past 10 years through continued education, professional practice, and personal growth. My passion lies within education, and I hope to continue to research and expand my understanding to lead future nurses within this valuable profession.
Contribution: Application of the method and issues to a problem/question and use practical examples to help illustrate understanding of the material.
