Transformation
The concept was first developed for NMLL by James Straughan in 2010.
It was fully developed into a concept of its own by James Straughan in 2012.
Application to CLL and EG.
Application to OLLCP, CLL+1, and ELL.
Joseph Briggs independently discovered and developed the technique in 2017 as part of the method called 42.

The 42 method also came with a recognition method for the corner solving step, a step which is called CCMLL.
In 2018, Justin Taylor proposed an OLLCP + transformation method likely influenced by the 42 method.
Jason Wong developed three different recognition methods for CCMLL.
James Straughan and Tim Mosher developed a recognition method for CCMLL in 2021. (ATCRM)
James Straughan proposed the idea in November, 2021
Tim Mosher offered to make a document
2-Sticker recognition was discovered during conversation about further optimizations
ATCRM was released to the community in December, 2021
Bonus: Earliest and only other known mention of the idea (2003).
This one falls into the same group as a lot of other things. An idea put out there, but not pursued any further. If following the attribution standards of the Method Library, this would be considered an early suggestion and not a substantial contribution that can be deemed enough for development credit.
