One major thing I am trying to present here is my slowly-being-revised Astronomy Resources in Nebraska (ARiN) database. Back in the 1990s it was complete, but much has changed today and so it must be redacted. Currently, I am also just beginning to reformat it so it can present well as a webpage. Many catagory pages are empty at this point, but I am working on them as time permits.
Currently, my focus is on building up Poetry at The Lion, which saps a lot of energy, even though I feel it is equally important. In the 1990s when I first developed ARiN, my wife and I were also working on the Nebraska Poets Calendar; but she is gone now, and the loss of her efforts working with poets across the state has been a significant handicap.
Please use the drop-down menus above to access the different sections of ARiN.
I also intend to place here some thoughts or essays on what you might call "MY astronomy"; that is to say, what astronomy means to me personally ... or at least, how I have experienced it. It is both a scientific discipline, but also the pursuit of it is also an experience, which is quite subjective, and therefore: quite personal.
