(Always in progress. All of these can be considered rough drafts. Some are nothing but seeds of ideas, some are more elaborate, but ALL need much work,

I am old. I know I am old, not so much by how many years I have lived nor my failing vision, arthritis, nephropathy, retinopathy, etc., as by the fact that my understanding of the world is becoming better consolidated. Much of what is in this section is the result of my attempts to record this. I have seen much, pondered much, and at long last much of it is beginning to make sense. Of course some of it is, and probably always will, remain incomprehensible; things like why the GOP is what it is, why dictators always flourish, why we cannot live together in peace, etc. It is, I suppose, enough that some of it makes sense. Perhaps this will someday help others to understand, verify & modify, even more. That is part of how we evolve.

This section  is a variety of essays. They are not classic, formal essays, such as you might have to write for a college entrance exam. They are more like extended & elaborate, sometimes compressed,  journal entries. My thoughts are presented here so that you (and I) might consider and reconsider them. On those lines, you should think of them all as first drafts, which might change as my understanding and views grow and evolve. . . . In fact, everything for that matter, on this website might be thought of like that. I am, after all, still alive . . . until I am not; someday you, or someone else, might change my mind about some of the material covered!

Some of these might even jump over to my "Spirituality" section sometime.
