Colleagues,
I found a solution to getting students their bus stops when they ask. Last night Raho Ali asked me for her bus stop. Because my kiddo is at a district school, I know a few things:
1) All students are given a bus route even if the parents asked to not get a bus route.
2) All parents were emailed that bus route if they had an email on file.
I sent this to Raho and she said she found her bus route:
So, what you need to do is send the student the name of their primary contact on Focus and that contact's email. Then, you tell them to find an email like the one above by using the attached picture.
Instructions for finding primary contact's email:
Go to focus
Go to "Select Student"
Search for the student.
Click "addresses and contacts"
Click the contact marked #1
Send that email to the student so they can help the parent find the bus route.
Onward and Upward,
