Given the continuing impact of COVID-19 on the educational environment, the NCAA Eligibility Center has partnered with the NCAA membership to identify changes to the initial-eligibility certification process for students who initially enroll full time in a collegiate institution during the 2022-2023 or 2023-2024 academic year. The Eligibility Center will continue to monitor the environment and make necessary adjustments to prioritize health, safety and fairness for all prospective student-athletes. The latest NCAA Eligibility Center COVID-19 Response FAQ can be found by clicking here.

ANY STUDENT PLANNING TO PLAY SPORTS FOR AN NCAA DIVISION I OR DIVISION II SCHOOL MUST REGISTER WITH THE NCAA ELIGIBILITY CENTER TO DETERMINE ELIGIBILITY! Part of determining eligibility is a requirement that students take a certain number of "core courses" in high school. Click here to find out which of Marian Central Catholic's courses are accepted as core courses by the NCAA. Marian NCAA High School Code is: 144475.
After registering with the Eligibility Center, students will need to have an official transcript sent to the NCAA after the completion of their junior year. Also, the Eligibility Center requires OFFICIAL ACT SCORES be sent DIRECTLY from the testing agency. When registering for ACT, students should include the NCAA code "9999". If a student has already taken the ACT and did not initially request to have the scores sent to the NCAA, they should log onto the Scores section of the ACT website to have scores sent to the Eligibility Center.
