Freshmen are busy adjusting to their new lives in high school and learning how best to coordinate their studies for the greatest academic success. We encourage freshmen to get involved in extracurricular activities in order to get to know other students and to enhance their resumes for the college admissions process in the future.
Please see the presentation above that Mrs, Hilton shared with the Class of 2029 recently.
All freshmen took the PreACT 8/9 Test on Friday, October 10, 2025 here at MCCHS. Score reports and test booklets have been delivered to the students. We encourage parents to review their student's PreACT 8/9 score report. Results assist greatly with future planning and will help students identify strengths and weaknesses early on in their high school career as they prepare to be "college ready".
See above to access the Using your PreACT 8/9 Results 2025 PowerPoint that Mrs. Hilton, School Counselor, presented to the students in December. This will give you additional insight into the scores and how students can use these scores to prepare for a successful future.
