Freshmen are busy adjusting to their new lives in high school and learning how best to coordinate their studies for the greatest academic success. We encourage freshmen to get involved in extracurricular activities in order to get to know other students and to enhance their resumes for the college admissions process in the future.
All freshmen will take the PreACT 8/9 Test on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 here at MCCHS. Score reports and test booklets will be delivered to the students in late November. We encourage parents to review their student's PreACT 8/9 score report. Results assist greatly with future planning and will help students identify strengths and weaknesses early on in their high school career as they prepare to be "college ready".
See below to access the Using your PreACT 8/9 Results PowerPoint that Mr. Fearn, School Counselor, presented to the students in 2024.
