Puzzle #14: 14 snack times (7 days x 2 times a day); curds 12 times; whey 11 times (3 in the curds only oval); (2 in the whey only oval); (9 in the middle curds and whey overlapping ovals).
Puzzle #21: 12 bags. 5 goes on the blank like on the right (those are the bags that went to the little boy) they are subtracted out of the 12 total bags the sheep gave in order to find out how many went to the dame (6) and the master (5). 2 in the dame only oval, 1 in the master only oval and 4 in the overlapping ovals in the middle.
Puzzle #29: 30 days (in June). 5 days she worked on cockle shells so that goes on the blank line on the right and is subtracted out because our venn diagram only shows weeded bells and weeded maids. 11 goes in the oval for weeded bells, 7 goes in the oval for weeded maids. 11 + 7 = 18. 25 - 18 = 7 so 7 goes in the middle in the overlapping oval so she weeded bells 18 times (11 + 7) and weeded maids 14 times (7 + 7)

Square + Triangle = 16 (Hint: start with diamond x diamond = 9. If diamond = 3 then circle = 8 because circle - diamond (3) = 5. Square and Triangle both = 4 since square + triangle = circle (8) and triangle - square = 0.
