Processing

Books that arrive will be processed by the librarian.

1. If a book is catalogued as Accelerated Reader, inside the back cover write the book’s quiz number, book level, and points.
2. Use the Dymo Labelmaker to make a barcode label and the call number tag.
3. Attach a barcode to the top left hand corner of the outside back cover.
4. Cover the barcode with a protective clear label
5. Attach a call number tag 2 inches from the bottom of the spine
6. Attach an Accelerated Reader label below the call number tag.
7. Cover the call number tag and AR label with a protective clear label. This label should be large enough to cover the stickers and not fall off, but it should not be too large. If the coverage is too small, use one large clear label and one small clear label.
