All cataloging is completed following the standards set forth in AACR2.
Subject headings follow the Library of Congress and at least three (3) are added when completing original cataloging.
Follett Destiny will be used for the cataloging of all materials unless another online cataloging system is selected to replace it.
MARC records may be purchased with materials from jobbers and uploaded to the Follett Destiny catalog.
Copy cataloging (downloading records from other systems) will be used for as many materials as possible. Records will be taken from shared catalogs in Follett Destiny when possible.
Original cataloging will be done when necessary.
