Our Company's COVID Policy - Updated September 2024

If any employee has tested positive for COVID, Marquis is ensuring the employee is healthy before returning to work. 

First, the employee should take a picture or screenshot of the positive test for our records and send it to HR. Most people with COVID-19 have mild illness and can recover at home. You can treat symptoms with over-the-counter medicines, such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen, to help feel better.
If you have symptoms, stay home until your symptoms are mild and improving and it’s been a day since you’ve had a fever. But then you can remain cautious by wearing a mask and keeping a distance from others when you return to work. 

We do not pay for days missed due to COVID, but employees may use their PTO (if they have any available) for this time. 

Second, we ask that the the employee please keep the company informed on when they’re planning on returning.  The employee can return to work when they no longer have a fever and feel better.

Si algún empleado dio positivo por COVID, Marquis se asegura de que el empleado esté sano antes de regresar al trabajo. 

Primero, el empleado debe tomar una fotografía o captura de pantalla de la prueba positiva para nuestros registros y enviarla a Recursos Humanos. La mayoría de las personas con COVID-19 tienen una enfermedad leve y pueden recuperarse en casa. Puede tratar los síntomas con medicamentos de venta libre, como paracetamol o ibuprofeno, para sentirse mejor. Si tiene síntomas, quédese en casa hasta que sus síntomas sean leves y mejoren y haya pasado un día desde que tuvo fiebre. Pero luego puede ser cauteloso usando una máscara y manteniendo la distancia con los demás cuando regrese al trabajo. 

No pagamos por los días perdidos debido a COVID, pero los empleados pueden usar su PTO (si tienen alguno disponible) para este tiempo. 

En segundo lugar, le pedimos al empleado que mantenga informada a la empresa sobre cuándo planea regresar. El empleado podrá volver a trabajar cuando ya no tenga fiebre y se sienta mejor.
