About Me

Get to know me!

I was born and raised in Calgary and I am so lucky to be surrounded by the most loving family and friends. I am so grateful to have the most abundant support system. I have always been passionate about giving back to my community especially the upcoming generations that are going to shape our world, which is why I am so passionate about becoming a teacher! With my outgoing and bubbly personality, I look forward to bringing that into my teaching practice and growing my knowledge of what it takes to become a great teacher over the next four years!

Family

My family has always reminded me to do what makes me happy in life and follow my heart, which has led me to choose a career in teaching. My family and I have always been very close and we do most things altogether like our trips to Kelowna every summer! We love to travel, explore new restaurants, and have fun! I am so grateful for all the amazing experiences my family has given me that have shaped who I am today.

Travel

One of my absolute favourite activities is traveling. I love experiencing new places and the uniqueness within them. From the incredible food to the diverse culture, I feel so blessed to say I have experienced so many amazing places throughout the world. Traveling has made it even more exciting for me to think of the many cultures I am going to learn about from the students in my own classroom.

Art

I have always had a passion for makeup, especially special FX. I love makeup because it is a way for me to escape from reality and express myself. Art is something I love to express in many different ways such as water colour painting, acrylic canvas painting, and of course my love for makeup! I want to teach my future students the importance of expressing one's self and also incorporate art into many aspects of our curriculum so the students can feel excited to be in my classroom.
