Offset - Round TR

All Mesh TR Edit tools use a new selection system (see Smart Selection).

Offset Curve

Tool for offsetting curves in ortho viewports.
Can also be used with surface edges, but the result is always curves.

Offset has two basic modes:

  • single - offset is performed on one side only

  • double - offset is done on both sides

Connected Open Ends - the ends of the offset curves are connected

Remove Base Curve - the selected curves are removed

Fix End Tangents - the ends of offset curves are adjusted to copy the end tangent of the original curve

Offset Edge

Tool for offsetting surface edges. Works with polygons and NURBS surfaces.

Single and Double side mode is identical as Offset Curve

Nurbs Topology - maintains a strict topology

Round Corner

Tool for rounding corners of curve segments and corners of edges of flat surfaces.

Angle Threshold - defines the minimum corner angle for round operation

It has three basic modes:

  • fillet - the corners are rounded with the arc segments

  • chamfer - the corners are trimmed with a line

  • blend - the corners are blended with a spline

Blend Scale - defines the ratio of the blend operation

Limits - defines how the conflict between two overlapping rounded corners is to be treated.

Round Edge

Tool for rounding edges of NURBS surfaces and polygons.
Round operation is provided at each iso edge point.

Angle Threshold - defines the minimum angle for rounding between shared surfaces

The fillet, chamfer and blend modes are identical to the Round Corner tool.

Nurbs Topology - maintains a strict topology
