Themed Battle: Rotating Base Capture
Description: Destroy the enemy bases with unique ecological assaults.
Three teams: Spawns at base (Triangle corner)
To Win: Destroy the bases of both enemies.
An enemy base is destroyed when it suffers three assaults (combined from any team). Each base has a Target Zone where the assaults will happen. You may not assault your own base - none of you are Trolls.
Death Count: 45 seconds (half count). After a base has been assaulted once, the spawn timer turns into 30 seconds. After a second assault, that team's spawn timer is 15 seconds.
Special Rules:
Team Forests: This team consists of faerie creatures and their allies (Brownies, Dryad, Unicorn). To assault an enemy base, the faeries must perform a Ritual of Fickle Growth at the enemy base. The Ritual requirements are randomized, and change every few minutes. The ritual can be skipped by performing it at your own base. [Uh... See Rituals below.]
Team Crags: This team are Goblins, Harpies, and Spiders. And their allies. In order to assault a base, the Crags Team must bring a Tinkerbomb to an enemy base and arm the bomb. Arming the bomb turns stone into explosions! [A Tinkerbomb takes a free hand. While carrying a Tinkerbomb, the bearer is Volatile - any wound, state, or effect on the bearer will cause the bomb to blow up, destroying it and killing the bearer. Dropping a Tinkerbomb destroys the bomb, and it must be brought back to base before another can be acquired. Igniting the bomb in the base takes Charge x2.]
Team Marshes: The swamp team are Lizardfolk, Troglodytes, and Raptors. In order to assault a base, a member of the team must carry a Blessed Egg to an enemy base and perform an Awakening. This unleashes a ravaging Marsh Wurm that damages the enemy base. [The Blessed Egg is a Heavy Object, takes two hands and carrier must walk. If the bearer dies, they put the egg down where it is or carry it back to base. Other teams cannot interact with it. The ritual of awakening is Charge x2]
Rituals of Fickle Growth: Changes every 4 minutes, or when a ritual is completed. (All numbers can be more or less, based on player count.)
Ring of Daisies: Get three people Stopped inside the target zone.
Faerie Time Out: Have six people kneeling or sitting while alive in the target zone.
Dance of Summer and Winter: At once, have one person frozen and two fire spells in the base.
Conjuration of the Rainbow: Have four people wearing different class sashes holding hands in a circle in the base.
Playing with Smoke and Mirrors: Have three people in the enemy base hold a dramatic pose for Charge x2
Dark Curses and Mutterings: One person perform Charge x10
The Inevitable March: Have one person walk unarmed from your target zone to the enemy.
Echoes and Echoes: Have one person die three times in the target zone without moving more than 3 feet away from it. (Avoid combat politely)
