What is Data Journalism? What are StoryMaps?

Data Journalism is “gathering, cleaning, organizing, analyzing, visualizing and publishing data to support the creation of acts of journalism.” A Story Map is an interactive way of telling an interesting and informative story using ArcGIS maps. Think of it as a mix between Prezi and Powerpoint slides, using maps and images as the slides, but with smoother transitions between slides.
