Meet the Teacher
I want students to be excited to come to school each day!
School should be a fun place to learn, so I do my best to provide suitable challenges that keep students engaged in learning while also recognizing that children arrive with different needs, skills and interests.

About Me
I have three daughters and one granddaughter. My husband was born and raised in Mexico, and our family travels to Michoacan every year to spend Christmas with relatives. I have celebrated over 20 New Years in Mexico! I love traveling and seeing new places. I also enjoy learning about other cultures.

We are excited to make big changes starting 2023-2024. This includes new furniture, new materials, and a new floorplan based on students' developmental and instructional levels, and California's TK guidelines.
Your child will have two teachers (Mrs. Anctil & Erin Mullins, para-educator). Throughout the school year, we will focus on social skills and the social-emotional well-being of students. TK instruction will be play-based. Academic progress will be regularly monitored, and students receive report cards.
We strive to foster enthusiasm and pride in learning while also helping students to develop independent work skills.
Learning should be interesting and fun! Our goal for kindergarten students is that they leave knowing how to read and write. We realize that children develop and learn at different rates, and we constantly recognize and celebrate successes.
I enjoy dressing up for our themed school "Spirit Days" which have included:
Hawaiian Day
PJ Day
Dr Seuss Day
Tie Dye Day
Twin Day
Crazy Hat / Hair Day
Western Wear Day
