Welcome to Linda Moreno's Class Web page! I am looking forward to a fantastic year of learning with you! This year, we are going to be interacting a lot through Google Classroom, Docs, and Spreadsheets, meetings in Zoom, and here on this web page.

All TK-8 students who are not enrolled in Choice Plus Academy or Edgenuity courses will be invited to join the TK-8 Google Classroom. This Classroom will add due dates to your Google Calendar (if you have one, and if you enable it).

You will be able to upload your work directly to the Google Classroom each week.

High school students taking elective courses and outline courses will also be invited to join a Google Classroom and will upload their logs and work there.

Pacific Coast Academy's TK-8th grade I CAN checklists are a great way to check off standards as students progress throughout the school year. We will be using these I CAN checklists to select areas of focus for each Learning Period. We will be referencing these for LP work samples.

TK-8th grade I CAN Checklists have all been added HERE for your reference. Your student's personal interactive I CAN grade level checklist (Google Doc that you can check off online without printing) can be found in your Family Google Folder.

High School Work Samples are also collected each Learning Period (LP). If your student is enrolled in a PCA-attached program, such as Edgenuity, Choice Plus Academy, EdOptions Academy, or Edmentum, you do not need to submit samples for those courses. For all other courses, such as electives that require logs, your student will need to upload those samples on the Schoology platform for each LP. The logs should be dated with the last day of the LP.
