Director Ep 2/ HOS
Nikki is a story artist (Formerly Netflix Animation Studios) who has a passion for drawing, classic cinema, and bringing a little whimsy to storytelling. 

Ready for the next gig, Nikki graciously donated their time to helping the Liminal Summers story team learn, grown, and keep the fun!

Director Ep 3 & Ep 5
Madison Lin is an Oakland native, a SHIFT Creative Fund winner, a ScreenCraft Film Fund finalist, and a second-rounder in the Austin Film Festival. 

She's had experience in development and production at  CBS, Apple TV+, and Netflix!

Director Ep 4
Ethan is an LMU School of Film and Television Grad . He loves bringing stories filled with adventure and heart to life, and is a feature writer/director's assistant at DreamWorks. At LMU, Ethan was the recipient of the Michael Peters Excellence in Screenwriting Award, as well as the annual Henry Bromell Screenwriting Fellowship 

A director on another project introduced Laurie to Maddie’s, and she immediately said, “sign me up!”

Laurie grew up cultivating drawing skills in late nights & online tutorials. In 2024 she joined a storyboarding program & quickly started  working on various projects (while still working full-time). In her free time she’s trying to catch up on Yellowstone, & acting like there’s 30 hours in the day.

Lily (they/them) is a nonbinary artist with a background in theater. They decided to switch career paths, fresh out of college, realizing they were always more passionate about animation.
Lily learned to storyboard (a skill they pursued initially because they wanted to be able to bring their DND sessions to life)

Easton Andrykowski is an animation veteran having worked at multiple studios in different production and storyboarding capacities. He's hopped on Liminal Summers to continue his storyboarding work and we're thrilled to have him.

Bella Tiner is a current production assistant/coordinator, freelance board artist, barista, and aspiring producer. She recently graduated and co-directed and wrote her senior thesis, Raising Heck. In her free time, she up-cycles clothes, skateboards, reads, and plays the bass. 

Alex is a a New York City native with a long time love for animation. She has worked mainly as a Production Coordinator at numerous studios on the east coast. Outside of animation and illustration she has a love for video games, ttrpgs and baking.

Kara is from the outskirts of the Windy City. Driven by the love of storytelling and animation, they learn everything they can to help bring projects to life. In her free time, Kara loves to play D&D, read comics and play video games! 

Andrew is an artist and a storyteller. His passion has led him to study at Art Center College of Design to develop his skills for visual development, background painting, and character design. 

When he is not drawing he enjoys hiking, fishing, playing guitar, and hanging out with his pet rabbit! 

Emma is a SoCal based illustrator and designer. She can’t remember any moment of her life when she wasn’t drawing! Originally focused on traditional painting, she was inspired by fantastical animated shows on TV Now. She has skills in composition, character design, and color. 

When she’s not drawing, she's stargazing, playing Pokémon, watching crime dramas, or attending K-pop concerts! 

Nana is a Chinese-Indonesian artist currently studying Illustration at ArtCenter College of Design. While she is most drawn to prop and character design, Nana has developed a passion for every part of the visual development process and aspires to create art that can connect to many people. Ultimately, she just likes to draw fun, silly things and be filled with whimsy!

A recent grad from ArtCenter Yvette was brought on to Liminal Summers to create beatuiful 2D characters, props, and more. She has a passion for storytelling and creating characters that are cohesive to the story, and loves using shapes to push visual storytelling. When she’s not drawing, she enjoys working out, playing video games, and playing guitar.

Sandy is a designer devoted to character-driven storytelling and worldbuilding often inspired by growing up in the CA bay area. She creates stylized characters and vibrant settings. Outside of art, she can often be found reading, camping, cooking, or spending time with her cats.

Niki Nambiar is a Indian illustrator and music aficionado based in Pasadena. When it comes to creating, she endeavours to pour her being into her ar to truly bring life into everything she makes. She has been making art that spans various styles and mediums for close to a decade. 

Oakley (he/him) is a queer, transgender artist focused on self-motivated learning and improvement.
Art has always been an outlet for him, and although this is his first professional project, he hopes for opportunities to grow in the future. His art is inspired by appreciation for video games, music, and the horror genre.

Hello! I'm Ebony-  the cartoon designer on Liminal Summers. I'm kind of in a liminal phase myself, I do a lot of different art. Comics, animation, illustration, still finding my own footing fresh out of college and seeing where my art is gonna take me. 

Also known as Acedunnit/Ace, Abigail is a recent graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy animation program. She has a strong love for character development, storyboarding, and storytelling through projects such as animations and webcomics. When she's not drawing or writing, she is walking her dog Granger, researching forensic science, or learning more about theology.

Ace additionally was brought on to the story team as a full artist during her time as an intern! 

John Hundley is a 2D animator and illustrator from Chicago, IL and a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy. His work is inspired by birds, ecology, and the natural world; with a strong focus on environmental storytelling and education. Combining traditional and digital 2D animation techniques, he is passionate about creating art that encourages curiosity, conservation, and connection with wildlife and the environment. 

Romie additionally was taksed with leading the 2D short reels creation along with his intern assignments!

Ben Almeida (he/him) recently graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BA in Stop-Motion Animation. He has a passion for puppeteering and fabrication, and strives to create more thoughtful representations of underrepresented communities through his work. While puppets are his passion, Ben is elated to flex his video editing skills to help bring Liminal Summers to life.

If there's one thing Maddie knows- it's timing! She stepped into the editing bay to keep Liminal Summers on track and set the comedy tone!
Leading the edit for the team, she's happy to showcase some new-found skills as for LS.
And is incredibly grateful to Ben for AEing every episode and breaking down dialogue/ building credits so she can just focus on the animatics!
