4. Problems

There are many problems that Italy faces like on going decay, and they can only slow down the process. Also the Pollution from nearby traffic has left the exterior thick with dirt and grime The Government is also in debt and can not fund the restoration so they are turning to privately owned businesses to help.[5]

5. Preservation

For every restoration job they must know in-depth knowledge of a monument, before anyone touches a building or monument it must be fully studied. They have to look at the level of decay,and analysis of its cracks.

In Conclusion

If we, as a group, are going to truly appreciate and absorb as much of Italy as we can during our visit, then we must understand and revere this essential cultural element and the work that it takes to preserve it. Also, I want every one to appropriated the beauty that we will be surrounded by in Italy. :)
