That can happen! These are called shifting symptoms, you could see white light, have body glitches, It's totally normal and nothing to be afraid of! Try to envision yourself being pulled into your DR, it can help the spinning calm down and, helps you focus on where you want to go.
I was experiencing really bad eye twitches, and got scared, what should I do when that happens?
A theory is that the spinning can worsen if your subconscious is not sure where you want to go. If you're partly distracted or scared because of the symptoms, it becomes really hard for you to shift. It's very important that you stay focused and relaxed. Your heart rate can also rise, but its important to focus more on your DR then the symptoms.
After trying to shift, I wake up with a lot of headaches, which last for days sometimes, why is that?
It takes a lot of "Brain Power" to shift, you will most likely feel really tired, or have headaches because your brain is tired. That's why it is important sometimes to wait a few days before trying to shift again, to make sure you're not over exhorting yourself.
When do I know to open my eyes?
Don't forcefully open them, you'll go back to your CR. Wait for as many signs as you can, hearing voices, feeling someone touch you. Don't open them right away when you hear them, or feel the touches. Try and focus of the touches, or sounds, draw them in, wait a little longer, if you still hear voices from your DR for are still feeling a touch, then you have shifted and you can just open your eyes!
Does Melatonin Vitamins aid with shifting ability?
No, Melatonin vitamins can make you lucid dream, which actually makes it harder for you to successfully shift, although melatonin is great for other things, it does not aid in shifting.
What is a realistic DR to CR time setting?
A good start time, to begin is one week (DR) = one hour (CR). The reasoning for this is that if the time difference you set is too extreme its harder for you to shift because it uses more "brain energy".
