Welcome to the Mambhazham Camp Series!

The Mambhazham camp series, organized by the Koodu Foundation in collaboration with Vikasanolsavam, the program of Kerala State Scheduled Tribe Development Department, is a unique initiative aimed at empowering students and promoting holistic development in Alappuzha. The camp series, held at various locations in Alappuzha, has garnered tremendous response from students and received accolades for its effective conduct. Led by the dedicated and dynamic duo, the Founding General Secretary and Founding President; S Syamlal and George Mathews, the Mambhazham camp series has become a platform for students to engage in enriching activities, educational workshops, and interactive sessions. The camp series focuses on nurturing talent, fostering creativity, and instilling values of leadership and community service among participants.

We are thrilled to share that the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of KG College Pambady, in partnership with Wings of Dreams and Koodu Foundation, organised an impactful beach cleaning event at Alappuzha Beach. This collaborative effort showcased our collective commitment to environmental stewardship and community service. Volunteers from diverse backgrounds came together to remove litter and debris from the beach, contributing to the preservation of our natural heritage and promoting a cleaner, healthier environment for all. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved in making this initiative a success and reaffirm our dedication to sustainable practices and community engagement.

The Power of Collaborations: Taking Action for a Cleaner, Greener Coastline

Under the collaborative efforts of The Social Captains and Green Worms, in partnership with the Koodu Foundation, the Kozhikkode Bhatt Road Beach Cleaning initiative was launched with a resounding call to action. Led by the dedicated leadership of Fathimathul Hanna, an active member of the Koodu Foundation, this program exemplifies the power of community-driven initiatives in promoting environmental stewardship and fostering a cleaner, healthier ecosystem. The collective impact of passionate individuals coming together to tackle environmental challenges underscores the spirit of collaboration and commitment to making a positive difference in our communities. Through such endeavours, we reaffirm our dedication to environmental conservation and sustainable practices, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future.

A M Ariff (Member of Parliament, Alappuzha) gifts his book entitled "My Selected Legislative Assembly Speeches & Media Interventions" to the Foundation President George Mathews for the Vayanakoodu Project in appreciation of the Koodu Foundation's inspiring coordination of Mambhazham'23. Renowned film actor Mammootty wrote the preface to this work.

At Koodu Foundation, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the elderly residents at the Government Old Age Home, Anchalummoodu, Kollam. We organize programs frequently to bring joy, companionship, and support to these individuals who have contributed so much to society. Our initiatives include interactive sessions, cultural events, and recreational activities designed to uplift spirits and create memorable experiences. The journey of the Koodu Foundation is forever committed to this place as we have gathered so many precious memories and experiences. We extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the inmates and officials of the Government Old Age Home in Kollam for their warm welcome and collaboration in our efforts to create a more caring and inclusive community.

Through various initiatives and compassionate endeavours, the Foundation shares heartfelt moments with the residents of St. Vincent's Old Age Home, bringing joy, companionship, and a sense of belonging to their lives. This partnership embodies the Foundation's values of empathy, respect, and social responsibility, as it continues to make a positive impact on the well-being and happiness of the elderly population at St. Vincent's Old Age Home, Keralapuram.

'BACK TO SCHOOL' CAMPAIGN: GIFTING A BRIGHTER TOMORROW

1 June 2025, Karicode: As a new academic year begins, Koodu Foundation launched the ‘Back to School’ campaign to ensure that young learners are equipped with the essentials they need to succeed. Led by the dedicated Core Committee of the Koodu Foundation, the campaign involved the collection of study materials, which were lovingly handed over to the children of Alex Agape Children’s Home in Karicode, Kollam. This mission was made possible by the generosity of kind-hearted donors who stepped forward to make a difference. Every notebook, pen, and pencil donated became a symbol of hope, care, and solidarity.
