At the Koodu Foundation, we believe that volunteers are the heart and soul of every meaningful initiative. BE-HIVE (Holistic Initiative for Volunteer Enhancement) is our dedicated project designed to empower volunteers, nurture their skills, and create a positive impact in the community.
What is BE-HIVE?
BE-HIVE is more than just a volunteer program; it's a journey of growth, learning, and contribution. We recognise the diverse talents, passions, and aspirations of our volunteers and provide them with a platform to thrive and make a difference.
Our Objectives:
Skill Development: BE-HIVE offers various training sessions, workshops, and hands-on experiences to enhance the skills of our volunteers. From leadership development to project management, we equip our volunteers with the tools they need to excel.
Community Engagement: Volunteers are at the forefront of our community initiatives. BE-HIVE provides opportunities to engage with local communities, understand their needs, and collaborate on meaningful projects that bring about positive change.
Personal Growth: Beyond skill development, BE-HIVE focuses on personal growth. We believe that volunteering is not just about what you do for others but also about the transformation it brings within yourself. Through mentorship and self-reflection, we support our volunteers in their journey of self-discovery and personal development.
Networking and Collaboration: BE-HIVE connects volunteers with like-minded individuals, experts, and organisations. We believe in the power of collaboration and networking to amplify our impact and create lasting change.
The Volunteer Icon Award (VI) is declared every month at the Koodu Foundation under Project BE-HIVE to appreciate and acknowledge the outstanding efforts and dedication of our volunteers. This recognition celebrates the hard work and contributions of those who go above and beyond in supporting the foundation's mission, inspiring others to make a positive impact in the community.
