Bluttransfusionen können Leben retten – nach schweren Unfällen, großen Operationen oder bei bestimmten Erkrankungen. Zugleich gilt: Jeder kann unerwartet in die Lage kommen, auf eine Bluttransfusion angewiesen zu sein.

Um eine zuverlässige Versorgung zu gewährleisten, haben Organisationen wie das Rote Kreuz seit Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts ein flächendeckendes Netz an Blutbanken aufgebaut – mit einem sicheren, bewährten System der Blutspende, das tagtäglich unzähligen Menschen Gesundheit und Leben ermöglicht.

Glücklicherweise sind viele Menschen bereit, einmalig, unregelmäßig oder sogar regelmäßig Blut zu spenden – und berichten nicht selten davon, das Blutspenden als tief sinnstiftend zu empfinden. Blutspende kann auch ein Akt gelebter Nächstenliebe sein und wird von verschiedenen christlichen Kirchen genau so verstanden.

Seit einiger Zeit jedoch ist ein rücklaufender Trend bei Blutspenden zu beobachten. 

KONIA möchte deshalb mit der Aktion 

„BIL – Blood is Life“ 

einen kleinen Beitrag dazu leisten, um dieses Thema im Bewusstsein zu halten. Unser Anliegen ist es dabei insbesondere, Menschen, die sich in den deutsch-koreanischen und international-englischsprachigen Gemeinschaften in Korea bewegen, über die Voraussetzungen, Möglichkeiten und Rahmenbedingungen der Blutspende in Korea zu informieren und sie bei Bedarf auch  konkret beim Blutspenden zu unterstützen.

Dabei gilt: 

Eine Blutspende ist immer eine zutiefst persönliche und absolut freiwillige Entscheidung. 

Manche Menschen fühlen sich zu diesem Dienst an der Gemeinschaft berufen. Andere fühlen sich zu anderem berufen. 

Beides verdient den gleichen Respekt und ist ethisch gleichwertig!

Wir möchten auf das Thema Blutspende in Korea aufmerksam machen und Interessierten  Informationen zur Verfügung stellen.

Darüber hinaus stehen Yung-Hee Yoon und Christian Rabenda auch als Ansprechpersonen bei weiteren Fragen zur Verfügung, unterstützen gerne konkret dabei, eine Blutspende in Korea zu arrangieren, und begleiten auf Wunsch auch zur Blutspende vor Ort.

수혈은 생명을 살릴 수 있습니다 — 큰 사고를 당했을 때, 대규모 수술 후에 또는 특정 질환의 경우에 그렇습니다. 동시에 누구나 예기치 않게 수혈이 꼭 필요한 상황에 놓일 수 있다는 사실도 기억해야 합니다.

안정적인 혈액 공급을 보장하기 위해 대한적십자사와 같은 기관들은 20세기 초부터 전국적으로 혈액은행 네트워크를 구축해 왔습니다. 안전하고 검증된 헌혈 시스템 덕분에 매일 수많은 사람들이 건강과 생명을 되찾고 있습니다.

다행히도 많은 사람들이 한 번, 가끔 혹은 정기적으로 헌혈할 의향이 있으며, 헌혈이 깊은 의미를 준다고 이야기하는 경우도 적지 않습니다. 헌혈은 실천하는 이웃 사랑의 행위가 될 수 있으며, 여러 기독교 교회에서도 그렇게 이해하고 있습니다.

그러나 최근 들어 헌혈 참여율이 감소하는 추세가 나타나고 있습니다.

이에 KONIA는
“BIL – Blood is Life”
캠페인을 통해 이 주제가 지속적으로 기억될 수 있도록 작은 기여를 하고자 합니다. 특히 한국에 거주하는 독일-한국 공동체 및 국제 영어권 공동체의 분들이 한국에서의 헌혈 자격, 방법, 여건에 대해 올바른 정보를 얻고 필요하다면 실제 헌혈 과정에서도 구체적으로 도움을 받을 수 있도록 돕는 것이 저희의 목표입니다.

헌혈은 언제나 매우 개인적이며 전적으로 자발적인 결정입니다.
어떤 분들은 공동체를 위한 이 섬김에 부르심을 느낍니다
또 다른 분들은 다른 방식으로 부르심을 받습니다.
그 둘은 똑같이 존중받아야 하며 윤리적으로 동등한 가치가 있습니다!

저희는 한국에서의 헌혈에 대해 알리고, 관심 있는 분들께 관련 정보를 제공하고자 합니다.

Blood transfusions can save lives — after serious accidents, major surgeries, or in certain illnesses. At the same time, it is true that anyone can unexpectedly find themselves in a situation where they rely on a blood transfusion.

To ensure a reliable supply, organizations like the Red Cross have, since the beginning of the 20th century, built up a comprehensive network of blood banks — with a safe, proven blood donation system that enables countless people to regain health and life every single day.

Fortunately, many people are willing to donate blood — once, occasionally, or even regularly — and not infrequently share that they find blood donation to be deeply meaningful. Blood donation can also be an act of lived charity and is understood as such by various Christian churches.

However, for some time now, a declining trend in blood donations has been observed.

KONIA therefore wishes, through the initiative
“BIL – Blood is Life”,
to make a small contribution to keeping this topic present in people’s minds. Our aim is particularly to inform people in the German-Korean and international English-speaking communities in Korea about the requirements, opportunities, and conditions of blood donation in Korea — and, when needed, to provide practical support for donating blood.

One thing is clear:
A blood donation is always a deeply personal and entirely voluntary decision.
Some people feel called to this service to the community. Others feel called to serve in other ways.
Both deserve the same respect and are of equal ethical value!

We want to draw attention to the topic of blood donation in Korea and make information available for those who are interested.

Blutspenden werden in Korea im Wesentlichen von zwei Organisationen entgegengenommen: 

• beim koreanischen Roten Kreuz (대한적십자사) in den sogenannten Blutspende-Häusern (헌혈의 집)

• von der gemeinnützigen, öffentlich-rechtlichen und staatlich geförderten Blutspendeorganisation Hanmaeum Blood Center (한마음혈액원) in deren sogenannten Blutspende-Cafés (헌혈카페).

한국에서는 헌혈이 주로 두 기관에서 진행됩니다:

In Korea, blood donations are essentially received by two main organizations:

• By the Korean Red Cross (대한적십자사) at their so-called Blood Donation Houses (헌혈의 집)

• By the non-profit, public, and state-supported blood donation organization Hanmaeum Blood Center (한마음혈액원) at their so-called Blood Donation Cafés (헌혈카페).

Blutspenden kann in Korea, wer folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllt:

• Alter: 16–69 Jahre

• Körpergewicht: 

  • • Frauen: mind. 45kg

    • Männer: mind. 50kg 

• Allgemein guter Gesundheitszustand

• Hämoglobin-Level: höher als 12,5g/dL

한국에서 헌혈할 수 있으려면 다음 기준을 충족해야 합니다:

• 연령: 16세 이상 69세 이하

• 체중:

  • • 여성: 45kg 이상

    • 남성: 50kg 이상

• 전반적으로 건강 상태가 양호할 것

• 헤모글로빈 수치: 12.5g/dL 이상

In Korea, one can donate blood if you meet the following conditions::

• Age: 16–69 years old

• Body weight:

  • • Women: minimum 45 kg

    • Men: minimum 50 kg

• Generally good health

• Hemoglobin level: above 12.5 g/dL

Ausländer können seit 2025 wieder fast uneingeschränkt in Korea Blut spenden, wenn sie zusätzlich folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

• mindestens seit 1 Jahr legal in Korea leben,

• einen koreanischen Wohnsitz mit amtlichem Dokument nachweisen können (z.B. ARC / Residence Card),

• sich innerhalb der letzten 12 Monate nicht mehr als 90 Tage im außerkoreanischen Ausland aufgehalten haben,

• der koreanischen Sprache mächtig sein um den gesamten Blutspendevorgang auf Koreanisch abwickeln zu können, d.h. insbesondere 

  • • die von den Blutspendezentren nur in koreanischer Sprache bereitgestellten Informationen zu verstehen, 

    • über den eigenen Gesundheitszustand und weitere Voaussetzungen Auskunft geben zu können (gegenüber dem Arzt bzw. der medizinischen Fachkraft und per Fragebogen), 

    • die Einwilligung zur Blutspende geben zu können und 

    • sich mit dem zuständigen Arzt bzw. der medizinischen Fachkraft und weiterem Personal des Blutspendezentrums verständigen zu können 

• ODER von einem Dolmetscher Gebrauch machen*

*Informationen zum Dolmetscher: 

Blutspender, die der koreanischen Sprache nicht in ausreichendem Maße mächtig sind, können von einem Dolmetscher Gebrauch machen. 

Der Dolmetscher muss ein professioneller Dolmetscher sein UND der Dolmetscher darf nicht mit dem Spender bekannt sein. 

Persönliche Bekannte kommen daher als Dolmetscher bei der Blutspende nicht in Frage, selbst dann wenn sie professionelle Übersetzer sind.
Auch KONIA kann aus diesem Grund leider nicht die Rolle des Dolmetschers übernehmen.

Stattdessen wird auf Antrag ein Dolmetscher von der Blutspendeorganisation bereit gestellt.

Gegenwärtig bietet nur das koreanische Rote Kreuz Dolmetscher zur Unterstützung an, sodass Spender, die der koreanischen Sprache nicht in ausreichendem Maße mächtig sind, gegenwärtig nur beim koreanischen Roten Kreuz spenden können.
(Bei Hanmaeum können Ausländer nur spenden, wenn sie ausreichend Koreanisch sprechen können.)

Einen Termin zur Blutspende mit Dolmetscher können internationale Spender u.a. beim korenischen Roten Kreuz über folgende Kontaktdaten vereinbaren:

2025년부터 외국인도 다시 거의 제한 없이 한국에서 헌혈할 수 있게 되었습니다. 다만, 아래의 추가 조건을 모두 충족해야 합니다:

• 한국에 합법적으로 1년 이상 거주하고 있을 것

• 한국 내 거주지를 증빙할 수 있는 공식 서류(예: 외국인등록증 / 거소증)를 소지할 것

• 최근 12개월 동안 한국 외 지역(해외)에 총 90일 이상 체류하지 않았을 것

• 전체 헌혈 절차를 한국어로 진행할 수 있을 만큼의 한국어 능력을 갖출 것. 이는 특히 다음을 포함합니다:

  • • 혈액원에서 한국어로만 제공되는 모든 안내 사항을 이해할 수 있을 것

    • 자신의 건강 상태 및 기타 조건에 대해 의사 또는 의료진에게 직접 설명하고, 관련 설문지를 작성할 수 있을 것

    • 헌혈에 대한 동의서를 작성할 수 있을 것

    • 의사·간호사 등 혈액원 관계자와 원활히 의사소통할 수 있을 것

• 또는 전문 통역사를 통해 진행할 것.*

*통역사 관련 안내

한국어가 충분하지 않은 헌혈자는 전문 통역사를 활용할 수 있습니다. 

단, 통역사는 반드시 전문 통역사이어야 하며, 헌혈자와 개인적인 친분이 없어야 합니다.

따라서 개인적으로 아는 지인은 설령 전문 통역사라 하더라도 헌혈 통역을 맡을 수 없습니다.
이 같은 이유로 코니아도 통역사 역할을 대신할 수는 없습니다.

대신 요청하시면 혈액원에서 전문 통역사를 제공합니다.

현재는 대한적십자사만 외국인 헌혈자를 위한 통역 지원 서비스를 제공하고 있으므로, 한국어 실력이 충분하지 않은 분은 현재로서는 대한적십자사를 통해서만 헌혈하실 수 있습니다.
(한마음혈액원은 한국어를 충분히 구사할 수 있는 경우에만 외국인 헌혈이 가능합니다.)

Since 2025, foreigners can once again donate blood in Korea with very few restrictions, provided they also meet the following additional requirements:

• They have lived legally in Korea for 1 year at least,

• They can prove a registered address in Korea with an official document (e.g., ARC / Residence Card).

• They have not spent more than 90 days outside of Korea within the past 12 months.

• They are proficient in Korean to complete the entire blood donation process in Korean. This means, in particular, they must be able to:

  • • Understand all information provided by the blood donation centers, which is available only in Korean.

    • Provide information about their health status and other requirements (to the doctor or medical staff and via questionnaire).

    • Give informed consent for the blood donation.

    • Communicate with the doctor, medical staff, and other blood donation center personnel,

• OR make use of a professional interpreter.*

*About Interpreters:

Blood Donors who do not have sufficient Korean language skills may use an interpreter. 

The interpreter must be a professional interpreter AND must not be personally acquainted with the donor.

Therefore, personal acquaintances cannot serve as interpreters during the blood donation, even if they are professional translators.
For this reason, KONIA unfortunately cannot act as an interpreter.

Instead, upon request, the blood donation organization will provide a professional interpreter.

Currently, only the Korean Red Cross offers interpreter support, so donors who are not sufficiently proficient in Korean can currently donate blood only through the Korean Red Cross.(At Hanmaeum, foreigners can donate only if they have adequate Korean language skills.)

Die Blutspende stellt einen freiwilligen Eingriff in die körperliche Unversehrtheit dar und ist gerade auch deshalb immer zu 100% freiwillig. 

Wer sich nicht zu 100% wohl dabei fühlt, zur Blutspende zu gehen, wer sich in irgendeiner Form gedrängt oder verpflichtet fühlt, wer Angst vor Nadeln, vor Nebenwirkungen oder vor Blut hat, wer ethische Bedenken hat, oder wem die Blutspende auf irgendeine Weise unangenehm ist, dem raten wir ausdrücklich von einer Blutspende ab. 

Es ist ethisch völlig in Ordnung, kein Blut zu spenden!
Es gibt unzählige andere Möglichkeiten in gleichem Maße Nächstenliebe zu üben!

헌혈은 신체의 온전함에 자발적으로 개입하는 행위이며, 그렇기 때문에 언제나 100% 본인의 자유 의사로만 이루어져야 합니다.

만약 헌혈을 하러 가는 것이 조금이라도 편하지 않게 느껴지거나, 어떤 형태로든 압박이나 의무감을 느끼거나, 바늘·부작용·혈액에 대한 두려움이 있거나, 윤리적인 고민이 있거나, 헌혈이 어떤 이유로든 불편하게 느껴진다면, 저희는 헌혈을 권하지 않습니다.

헌혈을 하지 않는 것은 윤리적으로 전혀 문제되지 않습니다!

이웃 사랑을 실천할 수 있는 방법은 그 외에도 무수히 많습니다!

Blood donation is a voluntary procedure that involves an intentional intervention into one’s physical integrity — and for this very reason, it is always 100% voluntary.

If you do not feel 100% comfortable with the idea of donating blood, if you feel pressured or obligated in any way, if you are afraid of needles, side effects, or the sight of blood, if you have ethical concerns, or if blood donation feels uncomfortable for any other reason — then we explicitly advise you not to donate blood.

It is ethically absolutely fine not to donate!

There are countless other ways to practice charity and love of neighbor to the same degree!

Neben den o.g. allgemeinen Voraussetzungen und zusätzlichen Voraussetzungen für Ausländer sowie den ethischen und emotionalen Aspekten sind über 400 einzelne temporäre und permanente Ausschlusskriterien — aus medizinischen Gründen (Erkrankungen, Medikamente, Impfungen, Behandlungen), in Bezug auf das Sexualverhalten und in Bezug auf Reisen und Aufenthaltsorte — zu beachten.

Im Folgenden haben wir alle Ausschlusskriterien entsprechend den Informationen der koreanischen Blutspendeorganisationen in insgesamt 6 Tabellen jeweils dreisprachig (Deutsch, Koreanisch, Englisch) zusammengestellt.

앞서 언급한 일반 조건과 외국인을 위한 추가 조건, 그리고 윤리적·감정적 고려사항 외에도, 총 400가지가 넘는 개별적인 일시적·영구적 제외 기준이 존재하며 반드시 확인해야 합니다. 이는 질병, 복용 약물, 예방접종, 치료 등 의학적 사유, 성적 행동, 여행·거주지 등 다양한 사유를 포함합니다.

아래에 한국 내 혈액원 정보를 기반으로 모든 제외 기준을 총 6개의 표로 정리하였으며, 각 표는 독일어·한국어·영어로 제공됩니다.

In addition to the general requirements mentioned above, the additional requirements for foreigners, and the ethical and emotional considerations, there are over 400 individual temporary and permanent exclusion criteria that must be taken into account — for medical reasons (illnesses, medications, vaccinations, treatments), as well as with regard to sexual behavior and travel or places of residence.

Below, we have compiled all exclusion criteria, based on information from the Korean blood donation organizations, in a total of six tables, each presented in three languages (German, Korean, English).

Während oder nach einer Blutspende können folgende Nebenwirkungen und Symptome auftreten:  

• Stress

• Nervosität

• Angst

• Schwindel

• Übelkeit

• Kältegefühl

• niedriger Blutdruck

• stechende Schmerzen

• Taubheitsgefühl

• Kribbeln um den Mund und in den Fingern

• Muskelbeschwerden

• Blutergüsse

• Schwellungen

• Druckschmerzen

• Venenenzündungen

• Juckreiz

• Rötungen

• Metallischer Geschmack im Mund

Um Nebenwirkungen so weit wie möglich zu vermeiden bzw. zu reduzieren werden folgende Maßnahmen empfohlen:

• 10-30 Minuten Ruhezeit nach der Blutspende um Schwindel zu vermeiden

• 10 Minuten lang fest auf die Punktionsstelle drücken um Hämatombildung zu vermeiden
  (Hämatome bilden sich i.d.R. nach 1-3 Wochen zurück)

• 4 Stunden lang Kontakt mit Wasser an der Punktionsstelle vermeiden um Venenentzündungen vozubeugen

• Vor und/oder nach der Spende Milchprodukte verzehren um metallischen Geschmack im Mund zu vermeiden

헌혈 중 또는 헌혈 후 다음과 같은 부작용이나 증상이 나타날 수 있습니다:  

• 스트레스

• 긴장감

• 불안

• 어지러움

• 메스꺼움

• 추위 느낌

• 저혈압

• 찌르는 듯한 통증

• 감각 저하

• 입 주변과 손가락의 저림

• 근육 불편감

• 멍 (혈종)

• 부종

• 누르면 아픈 통증

• 정맥염

• 가려움

• 발적 (붉어짐)

• 입안에서 금속 맛

부작용을 최대한 예방하거나 줄이기 위해 다음과 같은 방법을 권장합니다:

• 어지럼증 방지를 위해 헌혈 후 10~30분간 휴식하기

• 멍 (혈종) 발생을 방지하기 위해 채혈 부위를 10분간 꽉 누르기
  (혈종은 일반적으로 1~3주 내에 자연스럽게 사라집니다)

• 정맥염 예방을 위해 4시간 동안 채혈 부위를 물에 닿지 않게 하기

• 입안의 금속 맛을 줄이기 위해 헌혈 전·후에 유제품 섭취하기

During or after a blood donation, the following side effects and symptoms may occur:

• Stress

• Nervousness

• Anxiety

• Dizziness

• Nausea

• Feeling cold

• Low blood pressure

• Sharp pain

• Numbness

• Tingling around the mouth and in the fingers

• Muscle discomfort

• Bruising

• Swelling

• Pressure pain

• Vein inflammation

• Itching

• Redness

• Metallic taste in the mouth

To help prevent or reduce side effects as much as possible, the following measures are recommended:

• Rest for 10–30 minutes after donating to prevent dizziness

• Press firmly on the puncture site for 10 minutes to prevent bruising
  (Bruising generally subsides within 1–3 weeks)

• Avoid getting the puncture site wet for 4 hours to prevent vein inflammation

• Consume dairy products before and/or after donating to prevent a metallic taste in the mouth

1 Tag vor der Blutspende

• Sicherstellen, dass man gesund ist, keine akuten Infektionen bestehen und der Kreislauf stabil ist. 

• Keinen Alkohol mehr trinken. 

Am Tag der Blutspende:

• Ausreichend Wasser trinken um Hydrierung sicherzustellen

• Nicht nüchtern spenden! 2-3 Stunden vor der Spende eine leichte Mahlzeit einnehmen. Dabei fettreiche Lebensmittel vermeiden.

• Kurz vor der Spende nicht mehr rauchen.

• Benötigte Dokumente mitnehmen:

  • • Lichtbildausweis (Registration Card / ARC)

    • Terminbestätigungsnachweis (ggf. als Screenshot, als Email oder in der App)

• ca. 1 Stunde Aufenthalt im Blutspendezentrum einplanen

헌혈 하루 전

• 건강 상태가 양호하고 급성 감염이 없으며, 순환계가 안정적인지 확인하세요. 

• 술은 마시지 마세요.

헌혈 당일

• 수분을 충분히 섭취하여 몸을 잘 수분 공급하세요.

• 공복 상태에서는 헌혈하지 마세요! 헌혈 2~3시간 전에 기름기 없는 가벼운 식사를 하세요

• 헌혈 직전에는 흡연을 삼가세요.

• 필요한 서류를 지참하세요:

  • • 신분증 (외국인등록증)

    • 예약 확인 증빙 (스크린샷, 이메일, 앱 등)

• 혈액원에서 약 1시간 정도 머무를 시간을 계획하세요.

1 day before donating

• Make sure you are healthy, have no acute infections, and that your circulation is stable.

• Do not drink any alcohol.

On the day of donation:

• Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.

• Do not donate on an empty stomach! Eat a light meal 2–3 hours before donating; avoid fatty foods.

• Do not smoke shortly before donating.

• Bring the necessary documents:

  • • Photo ID (Registration Card / ARC)

    • Appointment confirmation (e.g., screenshot, email, or in the app)

• Plan to stay at the blood donation center for about 1 hour.

• Arrive at the welcoming, well-arranged blood donation center.

• Take a waiting ticket.

• When called: present your ID and, if applicable, your appointment confirmation; the staff will then complete your registration.

Nach der Registrierung ist ein Fragebogen auszufüllen, meistens elektronisch auf einem Tablet (in koreanischer Sprache) u.a. mit folgenden Themenbereichen:

• medizinische Anamnese (Krankheiten, Medikamente, Impfungen, Medizinische Behandlungen)

• Kosmetische Behandlungen (z.B. Piercings, Tattoos)

• Lebensgewohnheiten (u.a. Alkohol, Rauchen, etc.)

• Sexualkontakte

• Auslandsaufenthalte

Eine schriftliche Aufklärung über den Ablauf und die Risiken der Blutspende (ebenfalls auf Koreanisch) erfolgt zusätzlich zu dem Fragebogen.

Nach Ausfüllen des Fragebogens und Lesen der schriftlichen Aufklärung, gibt der Spender eine schriftliche Erklärung ab, ob er der Spende zustimmt. (ebenfalls auf Koreanisch)

Das Personal prüft die Angaben und informiert den Spender über Zulassung oder Nicht-Zulassung zur Blutspende. 

Hinweise:

• Der Fragebogen, die schriftliche Aufklärung und die Zustimmung erfolgen ausschließlich in koreanischer Sprache.

• Es ist von höchster Wichtigkeit alle Angaben ehrlich und genau zu machen, um die Sicherheit der Blutspende für Spender und spätere Empfänger sicherzustellen. Dazu sind gute Kenntnisse der koreanischen Sprache oder ein Dolmetscher erforderlich. Die Daten werden vertraulich behandelt. 

• Wenn  Dolmetscher-Unterstützung beantragt wurde, unterstützt der Dolmetscher beim Ausfüllen des Fragebogens und beim Verstehen der schriftlichen Aufklärung.

• Es gibt die Möglichkeit die eigene Blutspende auch noch nachträglich zu deklassieren, wenn man z.B. aus Scham bestimmte Angaben im Fragebogen verschwiegen oder falsche Angaben gemacht hat. 

등록 후에는 전자 문진표를 작성해야 합니다. 대부분 태블릿으로 진행되며, 한국어로 제공됩니다. 주요 항목은 다음과 같습니다:

문진표 작성 외에도 헌혈 과정과 관련된 절차 및 위험성에 대한 서면 안내를 추가로 받게 됩니다. (역시 한국어로 제공).

문진표를 모두 작성하고 서면 안내를 읽은 후, 헌혈에 동의하는지 여부를 서면으로 작성하여 제출합니다. (한국어로 진행)

직원이 기재 내용을 검토한 뒤, 헌혈 가능 여부를 안내합니다.

유의사항:

• 문진표, 서면 안내 및 동의 절차는 전적으로 한국어로만 진행됩니다.

• 헌혈자와 혈액 수혈을 받을 수혈자의 안전을 위해 모든 정보를 정직하고 정확하게 기재하는 것이 매우 중요합니다. 이를 위해 충분한 한국어 능력 또는 전문 통역이 필요하며, 작성된 정보는 철저히 비밀로 관리됩니다.

• 통역 지원을 신청한 경우, 통역사가 문진표 작성과 서면 안내 이해를 도와드립니다.

• 만약 부끄러움 등으로 인해 문진표에 사실과 다른 내용을 적거나 숨겼더라도, 헌혈 이후에 헌혈을 취소하거나 무효화(디클래스)할 수 있는 방법이 마련되어 있습니다.

After registration, you must complete a questionnaire — usually electronically on a tablet (in Korean) — covering the following topics:

• Medical history (illnesses, medications, vaccinations, medical treatments)

• Cosmetic treatments (e.g., piercings, tattoos)

• Lifestyle habits (e.g., alcohol, smoking, etc.)

• Sexual contacts

• Stays abroad

In addition to the questionnaire, you will receive written information about the procedure and possible risks of blood donation (also in Korean).

After completing the questionnaire and reading the written information, you will submit a written declaration indicating whether you consent to donate. (Also in Korean.)

The staff will review your answers and inform you whether you are eligible or not eligible to donate blood.

Notes:

• The questionnaire, the written information, and the consent process are conducted exclusively in Korean.

• It is extremely important to answer all questions truthfully and accurately to ensure the safety of the blood donation for both the donor and the future recipient. Good Korean language skills or an interpreter are required for this. Your data will be treated confidentially.

• If you have requested interpreter support, the interpreter will help you complete the questionnaire and understand the written information.

• If, for example, you withheld certain information out of embarrassment or made incorrect statements, it is still possible to retrospectively withdraw your donation.

Ein Arzt oder eine medizinische Fachkraft (Krankenschwester, etc.) führt, nachdem die Voraussetzungen für die Spende geprüft wurden, eine medizinische Voruntersuchung durch.
Dabei werden u.a. folgende Untersuchungen durchgeführt:

• Blutdruck 

• Puls

• Körpertemperatur

• ggf. Gewicht

• kleiner Bluttest aus der Fingerkuppe oder dem Ohrläppchen um den Hämoglobinwert von mind. 12,5g/dL sicherzustellen und ggf. die Blutgruppe festzustellen

Sodann folgt ein persönliches Gespräch mit dem Arzt bzw. der medizinischen Fachkraft (in koreanischer Sprache).
Hier wird

• der ausgefüllte Fragebogen gemeinsam mit dem Spender durchgegangen,

• ggf. einige der Angaben im Fragebogen genauer besprochen,

• vom Arzt bzw. von der medizinischen Fachkraft endgültig über die Spendetaugligkeit entschieden.

Hinweise:

• Das medizinische Gespräch erfolgt ebenfalls ausschließlich in koreanischer Sprache. 

• Wenn  Dolmetscher-Unterstützung beantragt wurde, unterstützt der Dolmetscher auch bei diesem Gespräch. 

헌혈 조건이 확인된 후, 의사 또는 의료 전문인력 (간호사 등) 이 의학적 사전검사를 진행합니다.

주요 검사 항목은 다음과 같습니다:

• 혈압

• 맥박

• 체온

• 필요 시 체중

• 손끝이나 귓불에서 소량의 혈액을 채취하여 헤모글로빈 수치(최소 12.5 g/dL)를 확인하고 필요 시 혈액형도 검사합니다.

이후 의사 또는 의료진과의 개별 상담이 진행됩니다 (한국어로 진행).

상담에서는

• 작성한 문진표를 함께 검토하고

• 필요한 경우 일부 항목을 더 상세히 논의하며

• 최종적으로 의사나 의료진이 헌혈 적격 여부를 결정합니다.

유의사항:

• 의학 상담도 전적으로 한국어로만 진행됩니다.

• 통역 지원을 신청한 경우, 해당 상담에서도 통역사가 함께 지원합니다.

A doctor or a medical professional (such as a nurse) will carry out a medical pre-examination once the basic eligibility requirements have been checked.

This typically includes the following checks:

• Blood pressure

• Pulse

• Body temperature

• Weight (if needed)

• Blood test from your fingertip or earlobe to ensure a hemoglobin level of at least 12.5 g/dL, and, if needed, to determine your blood type

Afterwards, you will have a personal consultation with the doctor or medical professional (in Korean).

During this conversation:

• Your completed questionnaire will be reviewed together with you,

• Some of your answers may be discussed in more detail,

• The doctor or medical professional will make the final decision about your eligibility to donate.

Notes:

• This medical consultation is also conducted exclusively in Korean.

• If you have requested interpreter support, the interpreter will assist you during this conversation as well.

Vorbereitung

• Übergang in den Spendebereich des Blutspendezentrums nach Abschluss des persönlichen Gesprächs und Feststellung der Spendetauglichkeit

• Erhalt eines Spendenpasses und/oder einer Spendernummer. 

• Ggf. Freimachen des Armes oder Erhalt eines Spender-T-Shirts (bei Erscheinen in langärmliger und/oder enger Kleidung).

• Spender-ID wir auf Blutbeutel und Probenröhrchen etikettiert.

• Der Spender sitzt i.d.R. auf einem Blutspendestuhl oder einer Liege mit geneigter Rückenlehne.

• Gespendet wird aus der Vene in der Armbeuge des linken oder rechten Armes. (Bevorzugt der nicht dominante Arm, wenn die Vene gut genug ist.)

• Der Spendearm  wird auf eine Armstütze gelagert. 

• Das Personal wählt eine geeignete Vene aus, und sterilisiert den entsprechenden Bereich großflächig. 

• Der Spender erhält einen weichen Ball oder einen Quetschring in die Hand des Spendearms, um mit rhythmischem Drücken den Blutfluss während der Spende zu fördern. 

Die Blutspende

• Das Personal sticht mit einer Einmalnadel in die Vene und legt einen etwas dickeren Zugang als bei der Blutabnahme um einen schnellen Blutfluss zu gewährleisten. (Die Nadel bleibt während des gesamten Spendevorgangs stecken.)

• Der Blutbeutel vermittels eines Sterilschlauchs angeschlossen und die Spende beginnt.

• Je nach Körperkonstitution erfolgt in Korea eine Spende von 320ml oder 400ml Blut. 

• Die Abzapfzeit beträgt insgesamt 5-10 Minuten

• Während der Blutbeutel sich füllt, wird er maschinell geschaukelt um die Gerinnung des Bluts zu verhindern. 

• Während des Abzapfens ist der Ball bzw. der Quetschring rhythmisch zu drücken um den Blutfluss zu fördern. 

• Das Personal des Blutspendezentrums bleibt während des Abzapfens in der Nähe und behält den Gesundheitszustand des Spenders im Auge.

• Bei Nebenwirkungen (u.a. Schwindel, Übelkeit, Kribbeln) ist sofort das Personal zu informieren. Die Entnahme wird dann verlangsamt oder abgebrochen. 

• Sobald die gewünschte Menge Blut (320ml bzw. 400ml) abgezapft wurde, stoppt die Blutspendemaschine den Blutfluss. 

• Der Schlauch wird abgeklemmt und die Nadel herausgezogen. 

• Ein steriler Tupfer ist nach der Spende einige Minuten lang vom Spender auf die Einstichstelle zu drücken und der Arm ist gestreckt und nach oben zu halten. 

• Das Personal legt dann einen straffen Druckverband oder Pflasterverband an. 

준비 단계

• 개인 상담을 마치고 헌혈 적격 여부가 확인되면 헌혈실로 이동합니다.

• 헌혈자 카드 또는 헌혈자 번호를 받습니다.

• 필요한 경우 팔을 걷거나 (긴 소매·꽉 끼는 옷을 입고 온 경우) 헌혈 전용 티셔츠를 제공받을 수 있습니다.

• 헌혈자 ID는 혈액백과 검사용 튜브에 라벨로 부착됩니다.

• 일반적으로 헌혈자는 등받이가 기울어진 헌혈 의자나 간이 침대에 앉습니다.

• 왼팔 또는 오른팔의 팔꿈치 안쪽 정맥에서 채혈하며, 혈관 상태가 좋으면 비우세 팔을 우선 사용합니다.

• 헌혈할 팔은 팔걸이에 올려놓습니다.

• 직원이 적합한 정맥을 선택한 뒤 해당 부위를 넓게 소독합니다.

• 헌혈 중에는 부드러운 볼이나 고리 모양의 스펀지를 쥐고 주기적으로 쥐었다 폈다 하여 혈류가 원활해지도록 합니다.

헌혈 진행

• 직원이 1회용 멸균 바늘을 정맥에 삽입하며, 원활한 채혈을 위해 일반 혈액검사보다 약간 굵은 관을 연결합니다. (바늘은 헌혈이 끝날 때까지 그대로 유지됩니다.)

• 혈액백은 멸균 튜브로 연결되며 채혈이 시작됩니다.

• 한국에서는 체질에 따라 320ml 또는 400ml의 혈액을 기증합니다.

• 채혈 시간은 보통 5~10분 정도 소요됩니다.

• 혈액백은 응고 방지를 위해 기계로 부드럽게 흔들립니다.

• 채혈 중에는 볼이나 스펀지를 주기적으로 눌러 혈액 흐름을 돕습니다.

• 헌혈 중 직원은 가까이에서 건강 상태를 계속 확인합니다.

• 어지럼, 메스꺼움, 저림 등 부작용이 발생하면 즉시 직원에게 알리세요. 필요 시 채혈 속도를 늦추거나 중단할 수 있습니다.

• 목표량 (320ml 또는 400ml) 이 모두 채워지면 기계가 자동으로 혈류를 차단합니다.

• 관을 차단하고 바늘을 제거합니다.

• 멸균 거즈로 채혈 부위를 몇 분간 꼭 누르고 팔을 곧게 펴고 위로 들어 올립니다.

• 이후 직원이 압박 붕대 또는 반창고를 단단히 부착합니다. 

Preparation

• After the personal consultation and confirmation of your eligibility, you will move to the donation area of the blood donation center.

• You will receive a donor card and/or donor number.

• If needed, you may be asked to roll up your sleeve or you may be given a donor T-shirt (especially if you arrive wearing long-sleeved or tight-fitting clothing).

• Your donor ID will be labeled on the blood bag and sample tubes.

• You will usually sit on a blood donation chair or a reclined bed with a tilted backrest.

• Blood is taken from a vein in the crook of your left or right arm (preferably the non-dominant arm if the vein is suitable).

• The donating arm is placed on an armrest.

• The staff will select a suitable vein and thoroughly sterilize the area.

• You will be given a soft ball or a squeeze ring in the donating hand to rhythmically squeeze during the donation to help the blood flow.

The Blood Donation

• The staff will insert a sterile, single-use needle into your vein and place a slightly larger line than for a routine blood draw to ensure smooth blood flow. (The needle remains in place for the entire donation.)

• The blood bag is connected via a sterile tube, and the donation begins.

• Depending on your body constitution, you will donate either 320 ml or 400 ml of blood in Korea.

• The blood collection usually takes about 5–10 minutes.

• While the bag fills, it is gently rocked by a machine to prevent clotting.

• While donating, you should squeeze the ball or ring rhythmically to promote blood flow.

• The staff will stay nearby during the donation and monitor your condition.

• If you experience side effects (such as dizziness, nausea, or tingling), inform the staff immediately. The collection will be slowed down or stopped if needed.

• Once the required amount (320 ml or 400 ml) has been collected, the donation machine will stop the flow.

• The tube is clamped, and the needle is removed.

• The donor has to press a sterile swab firmly on the puncture site for several minutes and keep the arm straight and raised.

• The staff will then apply a tight pressure bandage or an adhesive bandage.

Das Personal führt den Spender nun in den Ruhe- und Imbissbereich. 

• Der Spender darf nicht sofort gehen und muss sich dort mindestens 15 Minuten Ruhe wahren (um Kreislaufprobleme zu vermeiden)

• Ein kostenloser Snack und ein Getränk wird bereitgestellt.

• Der Spender sollte viel Flüssigkeit einnehmen um den Flüssigkeitshaushalt auszugleichen. 

• Während der Ruhephase sollte der Spender besonders auf seinen Körper und mögliche Nebenwirkungen achten, und ggf. umgehend das Personal informieren. Evtl. muss der Spender sich auf bereitstehenden Liegen hinlegen, um den Kreislauf zu stabilisieren.

Nach Ende der Ruhephase (mind. 15 Minuten, nach Bedarf mehr): 

• Abmeldung am Empfang und Erhalt eines Blutspendeausweises und/oder einer Spendenbestätigung.

• Vor Verlassen des Blutspendezentrums sollte der Spender noch einmal überprüfen, ob er sich wohlfühlt und keine Nebenwirkungen (mehr) vorhanden sind. 

Nach der Spende sollte im weiteren Tagesverlauf

• der Verband mind. 2-3 Stunden am Arm verbleiben,

• anstrengende körperliche Aktivitäten vermieden werden,

• viel Wasser getrunken werden,

• eine Mahlzeit eingenommen werden,

• kein Alkohol getrunken werden, 

•  etwa 60 Minuten auf Rauchen verzichtet werden.

Spender können nach der Spende i.d.R. alleine nach Hause gehen.
Ggf. kann es erforderlich sein, auf das Autofahren zu verzichten und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in Anspruch zu nehmen oder sich ggf. abholen oder begleiten zu lassen. 

직원이 헌혈자를 휴식 및 간식 공간으로 안내합니다.

• 헌혈자는 헌혈 후 바로 거를 수 없고 최소 15분 이상 휴식을 취해야 합니다. (혈액순환 문제 예방을 위해)

• 무료 간식과 음료가 제공됩니다.

• 체내 수분 균형을 맞추기 위해 충분한 수분을 섭취하세요.

• 휴식 중에는 몸 상태를 잘 살피고 부작용이 느껴지면 즉시 직원에게 알려야 합니다. 필요 시 준비된 간이 침대에 누워서 순환을 안정시킬 수 있습니다.

휴식 시간이 끝난 후(최소 15분, 필요 시 더 오래):

• 접수처에 들러 헌혈자 카드 또는 헌혈 확인증을 받습니다.

• 혈액원을 떠나기 전에 다시 한 번 몸 상태를 확인하고 부작용이 없는지 점검하세요.

헌혈 후 당일에는:

• 팔의 압박붕대는 최소 2~3시간 유지하세요,

• 무리한 신체활동은 피하세요,

• 물을 충분히 마시세요,

• 식사를 하세요,

• 술은 마시지 마세요,

• 약 60분간 흡연을 삼가세요.

헌혈자는 헌혈 후 보통 혼자 귀가할 수 있습니다.

다만 필요한 경우 운전을 피하고 대중교통을 이용하거나 지인에게 데리러 와 달라고 요청하거나 동행을 권장합니다.

The staff will guide  you to the rest and snack area.

• You can't walk immediately— you must rest for at least 15 minutes to avoid circulation problems.

• A complimentary snack and drink will be provided.

• Your should drink plenty of fluids to help replenish the body’s fluid balance.

• During the rest phase, pay close attention to how your body feels and watch for any possible side effects. Inform the staff immediately if anything feels wrong. If necessary, you may need to lie down on the provided beds to stabilize your circulation.

After the rest phase (at least 15 minutes, longer if needed):

• Check out at the reception and receive your blood donor card and/or donation confirmation.

• Before leaving the blood donation center, check again that you feel well and that you are not experiencing any side effects.

For the rest of the day after donating:

• Keep the bandage on your arm for at least 2–3 hours,

• Avoid strenuous physical activity,

• Drink plenty of water,

• Have a meal,

• Do not drink alcohol,

• Avoid smoking for about 60 minutes.

Donors can usually go home alone after donating.

However, it may sometimes be necessary to avoid driving and instead use public transport, or arrange to be picked up or accompanied.

Nach der Spende wird das gespendete Blut auf Infektionskrankheiten getestet, (u.a. HIV, Hepatitis B und C, Syphilis). Nur bei auffälligen Ergebnissen wird der Spender aktiv kontaktiert und die Spende verworfen (d.h. nicht für Transfusionen freigegeben.)

Weitere Testergebnisse (u.a. Hämoglobin) werden online (Rotes Kreuz) bzw. innerhalb von etwa 2 Wochen per Brief (Hanmaeum) bereitgestellt. 

Folgespenden

Nach der Spende ist in Korea unabhängig vom Geschlecht eine Wartezeit von mind. 8 Wochen bis zur nächsten Spende einzuhalten.
Die Spendehäufigkeit ist auf max. 5 Spenden pro Jahr beschränkt. 

헌혈 후에는 HIV, B형·C형 간염, 매독 등 감염성 질환에 대해 혈액 검사가 진행됩니다.

검사 결과가 이상이 있을 경우에만 헌혈자에게 별도로 연락하며, 해당 혈액은 폐기 처리되어 수혈에 사용되지 않습니다.

추가 검사 결과 (예: 헤모글로빈 수치 등) 는 대한적십자사의 경우 온라인으로 확인할 수 있으며, 한마음혈액원의 경우 약 2주 이내에 우편으로 발송됩니다.

다음 헌혈

한국에서는 성별에 관계없이 최소 8주 간격을 두고 헌혈할 수 있습니다.

연간 헌혈 가능 횟수는 최대 5회로 제한됩니다.

After you donate, your blood will be tested for infectious diseases (including HIV, hepatitis B and C, and syphilis). Donors will be actively contacted only if any abnormal results are found, and in such cases, the donation will be discarded (i.e., it will not be approved for transfusions).

Additional test results (such as hemoglobin levels) will be made available online (Korean Red Cross) or sent by mail within about two weeks (Hanmaeum).

Future Donations

In Korea, regardless of gender, you must wait at least 8 weeks between donations.

The maximum number of donations allowed per year is five.
