Kiseilians are not dragons.
Kiseilians are ancient creatures with common features shared with several animals present on Nhilana.
They probably are the ancestors of most of the creatures actually living in their world, but no one really knows.
Since civilization exists we know about these incredible animals, able to adapt themselves to many situations.

These animals have acquired particular characteristics that allow them to be fliers with a membrane like bats but still maintain an agile body that moves on the ground.
Despite their dimensions and their bones (not hollowed like bird ones) they are surprisingly light: for a variable height from 2 to 4,5 meters and a wingspan of about 10 meters, they only weight from 200 to 400 kilos.
They are provided with wide lungs to breath while swimming.
Their cruise speed is around 50/65 km/h, while their max speed may reach 150 km/h.
Dimorphisms
Male(dragon) and females(wyverns) don't differ too much from each other, but there are some small traits that make them different from each other.
Male's ears are curved, while female ones have some protrusions.
Males have wattles under their chin.
Males exhibit a furred line on their chest and belly: it's the last section of male's brood pouch, where they host eggs.
Kiseilians are carnivorous. They love both fish and meat, preferring mid-small preys because of excessive weight of big preys.
They could collaborate (rarely) to get a bigger prey or take advantage of environment. They don't even disdain carrions but always prefer fresh meat.
When they are pups, even immediately after coming out from their eggs, they can eat solid food thanks to already formed teeth and sometimes their parents may enhance their diet with insects. Potentially they may eat also herbs and fruits, but it can't be their only food for their lack of essential elements and nourishment for their growth and health.
The consumption of herbs and fruits is only generated by forthcoming lack of food or to cure internal unbalances.
Kiseilian are not hostile creatures neither to other animals neither to humans: they tend to live peacefully in their territory, that could be shared with other Kiseilians, even if they prefer by their own. Despite this, they may be frightened by humans or their natural enemies.
Due to their great brain dimension, they shows a really good memory that allows them to survive at any occurrence, because they remember safe places to live and food themselves.
This ability is greatly appreciated by breeders, due to their inclination to learn almost anything even if they don't fully understand its real utility.
Kiseilians usually try to mimic noises and gestures acknowledged by their community or their adventurer, if they have one (e.g. they could learn to use an hammer or how to stir the soup). They also learn to hunt and swim observing other animals, allowing them to experience any method and choose the best one.
A common trait in domesticated Kiseilians is their instinct to vocally mimic their adventurer, with ineffective results.

Tropical kiseilians
The most widespread species are these flying lizards, given that most of the continents have a very warm temperature and environment which allows them to survive without being too complicated.
These Kiseilians have no fur, but they are smooth-skinned, only covered by a natural grease that keep their skin always hydrated and waterproof. Their skin is extremely sensitive in case of lacking of that grease, and they could scorch themselves.
Main diet: meat, fish, insects.
Lifestyle: solitary and peaceful, usually.
Population: quite widespread.
Migrations: rather long flights, between continents and islands.
Nordic kiseilians
A nearly forgotten species over the centuries or millennia, they mainly occupied the north and hardly ever left, making the species almost mythical.
Obviously adapted to the cold climate, unlike their tropical cousins, they have thick fur that keeps them warm and they don't have oily skin, at least not usually.
Main diet: meat, sometimes fish.
Lifestyle: solitary or in flocks, with elders at the head.
Population: widespread only in the north of Motu Nui.
Migrations: usually walking on the ground, not used to do long journeys in flight.
