Kiseilians rarely form stable couples (except some rare cases).
Every year, during mating seasons, dragon starts fighting to contend a wyvern.
After a male's victory, the couple will search a safe place (usually caves) and starts collecting food, since if one of them is not enought well nourished, it won't be able to grow up their puppies.
Conception and gestation
Like seahorses, the dragon take the eggs from the female, fertilizing them inside his pouch: a single dragon could carry about 200 eggs, all fragiles and gelatinous, for a period of 4/6 months. Few of them will survive.
The gestation phase is a very delicate moment, where the neo-dad is really vulnerable: he can't move fast because of his big belly, and during the last period, he won't be able to fly. The wyvern will take care of him, protecting him and catching food for him.
Birth
At the moment of birth, the pups are still inside their eggs, but after some hours the few pups survived will start moving and get out their gelatinous bags, ready to draw the attention of their parents to get food and cuddles.
They come with a limited sight and with teeth already formed, ready to devour everything their parents will bring them to eat.
Kiseilian pups are well known for their energy: they are little pests, harassing both parents and siblings. Even the domestic ones are hard to bear, ready to bite and harass their owners with their shrieks.
Tropical kiseilians born with a pinky skin, with slight shades of the future markings.
Nordic kises instead, they born with a grey fur and faded patterns on them.

Growth
Like birds, the pups are cared by their parents until they will be able to live on their own. Usually, as soon as all the pups learnt how to fly their parents will leave, and they will be ready to face up to the world that surround them. This happens when they will be around 2 years old and they will live the next 3 alone until they'll reach their sexual maturity and minimum size to be considered adult.
Until that moment they will try to get known, so that upon their entry in a storm they can show their reproductive skills.
They will be considered adults at 5 years old.
Aging
When they reach the old age, the Kiseilians became sleepyhead whingers which pass most of their time in sunbathing and bathe lazily on the shore.
At this point, they are not looking to make a family, mostly because it would be a huge energy waste and it could be too laborious.
But usually they follow the migration of other Kiseilians in the mating places: they are really important because the ones that are not interested in finding females are concerned to supervise the place as a sort of sentinels.
The most pacefull and quiet ones are brought closer to the youngs and they can became good tutors or life teachers, both for pups and even their parents, since they can teach lots of things they discovered in their long life.
Kiseilian became elders around 55/60 years old, and they can reach up to 70 years old. In unique cases, they could also reach 100 years old.
