"Once a year, when the leaves start to fall and the crops' last remains rot on the ground under the frequent rains, the temple of Whenua, Goddess of the Earth and Fertility, starts to thrive and shows itself in the most magnificent way."
The townspeople travel from far away, to the unknown mountains and forests to reach the temple. It was built by nature itself, maybe in a glint of arrogance the Goddess wanted to make sure people knew about her existence. In a far away hidden glade lays the temple, a huge ancient hollow tree whose trunk is shapes as a feminine figure with open arms.
Many animals and people are attracted to the tree in this period by the fragrant meadows around the temple in order to eat its fruits, rest under its shadow, and sometimes to sit in prayer and thank the Goddess for her gifts.
During the celebration, people and kiseilians decorate themselves with paints and take care of the valley, carrying natural handmade gifts to the temple, fruits and prayers to the Goddess…
Something seems off this year... the temple seems to be neglected and forgotten.
There are many ways to celebrate and each has its rewards. You're free to join in any way you prefer and as often as you wish, there is no limit~
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Artwork: at least 75% of each Kiseilian must be visible, colored and shaded, with a complex background.
Literature: 1000 words, at least 50% following the given prompt. Each Kiseilian must be actively present for at least 75% of the story.
If you do not own a Kiseilian, you can use a starter to participate or a kise of your friends!
Please, be sure to have an activity tracker and a thread on your tracker for events, monthly quests or such since the reward is rolled and published there.
Guaranteed rewards for each entry:
+3 Event bonus
so remember to mention it during RP counting!
Each Kise taking part in the event will get a badge, added to the import at the end of the event!
Each entry have a 40% chance to get 1x Whenua's temple background or 1x Whenua garland accessory set!
By taking part in the event with at least 1 entry, you can enter to the semicustom raffle!

It's time to celebrate!
1. Familiars Hunt
Nhilana is full of incredible and unique creatures, and of course there is a lot of excitement at the Whenua's celebration.
This is the period in which Whenua flourishes and gives her blessing to all living things, and it's in this situation that many animals migrate and can be found easily anywhere. Kiselians do the same and it's not new to them to meet known and unknown creatures.
Maybe this is your chance to make new friends?
Enter the quest line (made of 2 prompts) to follow a Familiar of your choice among the ones currently available.
An admin will give you the prompts and the informations you'll need to complete the quest.
Rewards will be given upon completion of the questline.

You can enter the quest as many time as you want, but you need to complete the previous questline to start a new one.
2. Make-up time!
According to tradition, everyone wants to show their best look to the goddess. It's time to put on some make up!
Whenua loves colors and life, and Kiseilians love colours as well!
Whenua’s celebration is here and Nhilana is ready: humans prepare bags and food to begin their pilgrimage while Kises start to prepare for the mating season.
Kises are colourful from birth but when competition grows some of their colours may not be enough. Wild Kiseilians could try to make themselves prettier by decorating themselves with natural garlands or cool things they find around.
Tamed ones, instead, are already pretty proud and a new shiny collar could be fine as well.
And… others may think that a mudcake on their head could be a great idea…
Draw or write about your Kiseilian/s wearing some new accessories and clothes, or show how they gained them.
It could be a simple scar or royal clothes, or maybe your kise became super chubby because they eat too much?
Go wild with the ideas, let them be unique!

3. Temple caring
There is nothing more sacred than putting your foot in a temple dedicated to a divinity.
Something seems off: her temple looks abandoned and neglected. It's time to follow her words: take care of nature, animals, pups and devote your time to others.

4. Care for the living
Every creature and plant is a child of Whenua, and she is a lovely mother who cares for her family. As a child of Whenua, during her celebration, you have to show love and affection to nature and your family. Yes, your siblings too.
Draw/write about your Kise taking care of someone else's Kise, or both taking care of some living creatures, either plants or animals.
