Even if Nhilana lost most of their ancient culture, they still have many legends and stories.
Whenua is the Goddess of life, earth and love.
She is a lovely mother who wants all the best for Her sons and daughters, spreading edible plants everywhere.
She loves to be known by the living creatures and be part of their lives, for this reason She decided to become visible to them throught Her temple.
Matahari is the God of the Sun and Wind, symbol of strenght.
Matahari is patience and wise, he rarely rarely intervenes in mortal matters and appreciates the strong living being, capable of fighting for their survival or to defend their precious ones.
His temple is a majestic building was created by old civilizations a millennium ago to celebrate him: nobody knows how it was even possible to build it in such an out of reach place.
Ma'an, minor goddess, is a suffering and sad soul.
From the depths of her heart she recognizes her faults and can only forgive. She is gentle, help humans and animals when possible.
Her temple is located in this particular place of Edien, choosen by humans, since it reminds the sea with the blue leaves of trees and abundance of water.
His fury is limitless, his strength is unceasing and humans seem to know that very well.
It's for this reason that his temples are almost forgotten but by reading some old maps is possible to know where they are.
The newest one is located in the only forest of Wera Wera, near to the main city. It's just a rock monolith, where is showed a not really clear appearance of him and with a warning about his dangerousness.
The oldest one, instead, is located on a vulcano island near to Iidne Saar, and it's very different: on the roots of the vulcano, its walls have a wide narrowing in which the lava flows slowly, creating a pool of scorching magma. In the middle of that pool, there is the massive statue of Ahi. Who visit him must never look up at him as it would be disrespectful: people fear him and don't want to unleash his anger in any way. They always go there to pray, but without having real eye contact with the face of the statue.
God's Tales
The Beginning
At the dawn of the known world and beyond, there were two distinct things: the Matahari which radiated its explosive energy in the immensity of the cosmos and Whenua who slept placidly.
One day the two entities were able to meet and with time love blossomed between them: they were complementary entities, every part of their relationship was perfect and bright.
They decided to join in a higher, symbiotic level: thanks to their bond, Nhilana was born and Ma'an and Ahi with it.
There, the first one flowed quietly on the ground and the second one started to warm the cold earth from the inside, sometimes showing himself from holes in the earth.
After this moment, also Matahari and Whenua decided to settle there.
Over time, Earth was enriched with vegetation, light and life ...
Everyone is working hard to find more about their story, but seems like Nhilana wants to keep it secret...
