A nearly forgotten species over the centuries or millennia, they mainly occupied the north and hardly ever left, making the species almost mythical.
Obviously adapted to the cold climate, unlike their tropical cousins, they have thick fur that keeps them warm and they don't have oily skin, at least not usually.
These kise tend to be white or less bright colors than tropicals, since it is useful for them to be less conspicuous.
Obviously the particular trait of these beasts is their hair, some of these kise also have curly hair!
Unlike tropicals, it is more difficult to tell if a kise is male or female, but the easiest way to see it is to check whether or not it has wattles on its chin.
Although they have a tonnage similar to that of tropicals, they are much more powerful and muscular; unlike tropicals, they tend to walk on the ground for a long time and fly less, so their wings/arms have modified over time.
They have acquired these characteristics because flying in these environments risks finding really cold winds, even for these big bats; therefore they specialized in marching and searching for prey on the ground.
Obviously meat is the main food of their diet, even if sometimes they supplement with fish or something else but it's not always easy to find it.
