This initial phase is where I meet you on site and we can walk around the property together. It's an opportunity for us to talk and for me to understand the site details, your hopes and vision, how you want to use the space and what your budget is. From here we can also determine what you need. Some projects require a full Landscape Design while others may only need a Planting Plan. The initial consult is $250. From here I send you a proposal outlining what we have discussed, the scope of work and the design fee.

This is the creative phase. Using your design brief and other site data such as surveys and architectural drawings, a Concept Plan is developed . The Concept is not detailed, rather it will be a scaled drawing of the overall garden layout and structure and include possible materials to use as well as general planting areas. Once presented to you, we work together to bring your preferred elements together for the Final Plan. This is where the design is documented in further detail and includes set outs, material detail and a detailed Planting Design.

The exciting bit. Using the information included on Final Landscape Plan, construction can now begin. During this phase I can work with you to obtain quotes, engage a Landscape Contractor and remain involved during the landscape build. Alternatively, you may wish to 'owner build' and call upon me during the process when needed.
