For this project you will create a Graphic User Interface (GUI) for your game concept. Each project will have a different goal so decide with your group what is best for your game.

Badges/Stickers for Achievements
Health indicator
Available lives
Inventory (You could add your props here)
Level indicator
Maps
Weapons Section
Available Ammo
Leave room to play
Put the buttons where the fingers hold the device
Universal Design for contrast needs to be considered
User test the buttons if it's hard to understand use text too
Gather 3 benchmark images showing the style you are aiming for.
Sketch out 2 different GUI layout options.
Once your layouts are approved, begin to sketch out your final GUI assets.
Once your GUI assets are approved, begin to create the final color graphic assets using either Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
Use your environment design as your background for the GUI
Add your props to the image if you are doing an inventory selection screen
The dimensions for this project will be determined by what you intend it to be primarily used on when complete; a tablet (iPad) or phone (iPhone).
For iPad dimensions it should be 2732 x 2048 pixels
For iPhone dimensions it should be 2436 x 1125 pixels
Place your layered psd or AI files on the Google Drive GUI Folder
Place jpg images of your files on your Google Slides 2000 x 2000 pixels max
