All ideas need to be approved by the instructor.
Once you have an idea for your concept, you will create a Google Slides presentation to pitch to the class. You will use this pitch template. Copy this template and make it your own by placing your work on each of the slides where directed.
You will update this presentation as the course progresses and will be the way that the course is graded.
Game Docs:
Create your own Game Doc, to record your thoughts of all of the needed pieces as well as the goals and gameplay mechanics. The game doc will be embedded into the Pitch Presentation.

to include: 3 or more sketches, 1 color final
to include: 9 grayscale thumbnails, 2 detailed grayscale sketches, 3 color keys, 1 color final.

At the end of the semester you'll update your Google Slides Presentation with all of your finished art from the semester, giving you a finished game pitch.
You will make a presentation to track your process and be able to pitch your game after concept and production completion.
