Kaycee's Mod is now part of the main build, so you just need to update!
The mod is accessed via the red card with a skull on it from the main menu, after completing the game.
If you've already completed the game, the main menu should look like the screen shown.
If you haven't completed the game, press Shift+K+M to unlock Kaycee’s Mod. The debug command will flag the game as completed and give you access.
A blue SD card that reads "ESC" should appear in the top left corner, and a red card with a skull on it should appear on the main menu.
Select the red skull to go to the Kaycee's Mod main menu.
Check if you have an existing save file. If you don’t, start the game and make one.
If Shift+K+M doesn't change the main menu, it may not have flagged the game as completed correctly.
Go to the chapter select screen by clicking the blue SD card button or pressing ESC.
If you don’t have access to the chapter select screen, pressing Shift+A+S should send you there.
The chapter select screen should look like this.
Choose Act 3 (10/16).
Let P03 finish speaking, then pause the game with ESC, and return to the main menu.
Once you're back at the main menu, try pressing Shift+K+M again.
If that didn't work, try choosing Act 1 (10/10) and repeating the pause/return to main menu/press Shift+K+M steps.
If none of those work, and/or if the blue SD card button in the top left does not appear when returning to the main menu after starting one of the acts, the game hasn’t registered being completed.
Go back to the chapter select screen, and select the finale (10/17). Play through the entire finale.
If the game freezes at the end of the credits, that’s a known bug. Use Alt+F4 to close it, or close it via Steam, then re-open the game.
Check the main menu. The game should now register that it’s completed, and the blue SD card and red skull should appear.
If none of these work, see #kaycee-mod-disc and #kaycee-mod-bugs for more help.

Make sure you bought the game on Steam.
Make sure Steam is not in offline mode.
Make sure you’re in the Steam game properties, not the file properties.
Make sure you’ve typed in the code correctly - "givemeascensionmode", all lowercase, with no spaces.
Make sure there aren’t any spaces after the code either.
Make sure “kaycee-mod-beta - To test the Kaycee’s Mod mini-expansion!” option is selected in the dropdown box.
With all that selected, make sure you’ve actually updated the game.
