Just Another Con (JACon) is a two-day annual event held on the third weekend of September, celebrating all things nerdy. From anime, manga, comics, and video games to cosplay, sci-fi, and tabletop gaming, JACon is where fans come together to connect, create, and celebrate the communities they love.

We also proudly host the Just Another Cosplay Contest, a standalone event held each year on the third weekend of February. This one-day showcase highlights craftsmanship, creativity, and performance, offering cosplayers a platform to shine and share their passion with a vibrant audience. In addition, we’re excited to feature an Idol Festival, spotlighting five idol groups along with a special guest performer, bringing even more energy and entertainment to the celebration.

Beyond our main events, JACon is committed to supporting and engaging with fandom communities year-round. Through our Community Events, we host smaller gatherings across Louisiana designed to strengthen local fan groups, provide fun and interactive activities, and create educational opportunities. These events help keep the spirit of JACon alive throughout the year and bring fans together in new and exciting ways.
