Miniature Painting Workshop 

Ascension Parish Library, Gonzales Branch

We hosted a relaxing and creative afternoon of miniature painting! Guests chose from our curated selection of miniatures or brought their own favorites to paint. 

We provided the paints, supplies, and step-by-step guidance, creativity was all they needed to bring.

• Participants picked a miniature from our selection or brought their own.

• All materials were provided.

• Everyone took home their finished piece.

• The event was completely FREE to attend.

This workshop kicked off a series of smaller community events designed by fans, for fans, creating a welcoming space to connect, unwind, and have fun.

Anime Club “HOW TO” Meeting, Resume Workshop

SELU – The Rec

We hosted a special Anime Club “HOW TO” meeting where Carolina, a professional human resource expert with over seven years of experience and co-owner of Just Another Con, shared her knowledge on resume writing. This workshop came just in time to help students prepare for SELU’s Career Fair on September 25, 2025.

Participants had the chance to:

• Take part in one-on-one and small group breakouts.

• Share and review their resumes.

• Receive professional guidance and educator-led feedback.

The session created a supportive and interactive space for students to sharpen their career skills, gain confidence, and walk away with practical tips to help them stand out at the upcoming career fair.
