Library Orientation: Orientation sessions will acquaint students and staff with the collection and resources available in the library.
Library-centered Instruction: The librarian will provide instruction in literacy-related topics such as research methods, digital citizenship, online safety, literary analysis, and other topics requested by teachers.
Research Assistance: Teachers can request the librarian to curate physical and digital resources for student research projects.
Book Talks/Genre Showcases: The librarian will highlight new books and feature specific genres through videos, in-person book talks, and shelving displays.
Book recommendations: Students can request help finding a book based on previous books they've read, their preferred genre, or a topic they're interested in.
Special Programs
Scholastic Book Fair: The library will host two Scholastic Book Fairs- one in the Fall and one in the Spring. Book Fairs will be open during regular school hours with extended after school hours one day during the week.
