Library Goals

Goal #1: All students will engage in library-centered instruction through their Reading/Language Arts class at least 4 times by the end of the school year. This will ensure that students are acquiring digital and media literacy in addition to the reading instruction they receive in class.

Goal #2: At least 50% of students and staff will participate in a reading program by the end of the school year. This goal will foster a culture of reading on campus and allow teachers and admin to be model readers for students.

Goal #3: At least 15% of the library collection will be in Spanish in order to help build and strengthen the literacy of our emergent bilingual students.
