Students continued to work on their Rube Goldberg machines and demonstrated their finished machines to the class... Every group was able to make the lotion squirt into someone's hand! They did great, and I'm so proud of them getting creative, innovative, and for not giving up!!

We completed our mapping and timeline of the civil war events. It was a very focused activity that required listening and following directions well. However it was also eye-opening to see the overlapping along the map over time how battles won switched states from Confederacy to Union states and how those battles led to the end of the Civil war, and eventually, slavery.
